Analyst at Cipla

Job Purpose

• The incumbent is responsible for receipt and storage of intermediate product, final product, raw materials and stability samples in accordance with procedures as well as issuance of documentation, procurement of laboratory consumables and equipment.

Accountabilities
Accountabilities includes but are not limited to:

• Create PO's on SAP
• Ensure compliance with current Good Laboratory Practices as laid down in the QC procedures.
• Maintenance of list of antidotes for the poisons.
• Ensure that the ordered PPE is received, and sufficient stock is available for the QC personnel
• Responsible for co-ordinating the removal of waste (including microbiology waste) from the QC lab timeously with EHS and Lab supervisor support
• Responsible for ensuring all SOP / WI Index in all files in QC are current.
• Receiving and recording of all samples received into the Lab
• Issue of authorised documentation used for recording of data in the lab against respective SOP and ensure annexures issued are as per the current SOP version

Accountabilities 2

• Data capturing for all goods received, capture invoices, General admin duties
• Co-ordinate activities involved with procuring goods and services such as quotations, availability, and delivery schedule, grade of reagents and respective glassware
• Obtaining the most cost-effective quotes from suppliers/agents and management of all stock levels items in QC
• Receiving and sorting consumables and lab equipment according to their respective storage areas
• Preparing all the document and information such as receipts, GRN’s, delivery notes required to process payment according to stipulated payment term
• Liaising with Cipla India, courier and customs for standards delivery and clearance.
• Control, receipt, dispensing and issuing of standards including but not limited to Primary, calibration, working standards.
• Management of MSDS (SDS) for the chemicals, solvents, placebos and standards in the QC lab including micro.

Education Qualification

• National Diploma : Biotechnology/ National diploma in analytical chemistry

Relevant Work Experience

• 1 -2 years in a laboratory environment
