Applications that meet the stated requirements are invited for a vacancy exists for a dynamic and driven Accounts Payable Clerk to join a team based at the Head Office in Waterfall. This role reports directly to the Accounts Payable Manager, in the Finance Business Partner Business Unit.

Minimum Requirements

• Grade 12 (Matric)
• Minimum 2 years experience in Accounts Payable
• Sound excel skills and preferably ACCPAC experience
• Strong reconciliation skills
• Ability to work under pressure, deadline driven
• Attention to detail
• Basic Financial knowledge
• Fully computer literate
• Strong problem solving ability
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team

Duties & Responsibilities

• Ensure all supplier invoices and all costs are captured in the correct month
• Prepare creditors reconciliations monthly for all active suppliers
• Compile payment lists as per payment policy
• Balancing of Intercompany accounts each month
• Responding to supplier queries timeously
