Job description

Purpose of the Role

Manages the integrity of the General Ledger and accuracy of reporting of monthly business results.

Key Responsibilities

• Accountable for completion of monthly Balance Sheet reconciliations,
• Accountable for overall review of General Ledger on a monthly basis and for accuracy of all journals passed therein.
• Accountable for preparation, analysis and delivery of monthly Departmental/Divisional Results including accuracy of all information therein,
• Accountable for completion of monthly journals
• Accountable for completion of accurate bordereaux to service providers
• Implementation and improvement of processes
• Auditing cashbooks, petty cash and credit cards

Knowledge and Experience:

• B Com (3 year degree) with 5 - 7 years working experience in a Finance function, or
• 5 – 7 years working experience
• Financial Service experience an advantage.
