Key responsibilities/duties of the role

• Maintenance of sales forecast tool.
• Weekly reviewing projects for completeness, reasonability and accuracy regarding project amount, GP and timing and follow-up with BU heads and account managers
• Ensuring actual orders and sales are closed on forecast tool
• Ensuring projects that are not realised are amended on forecast tool to the new expected date
• Host analytics (internal management reporting tool) and management accounting
• Weekly reporting of orders and billing for all regions to NECE
• Weekly reporting of Actual v budget v estimate in total and per BU with reasons
• Monthly reporting of Actual v budget v estimate with reasons
• Monthly reporting of sales pipeline to NECE, NECJ, NECAF
• Monthly capture of estimate for all regions
• Prepare information for weekly pulse call meetings
• Prepare information for monthly business review meetings
• Preparation of monthly variance report to NECE per region and in total for Order, Sales, SGA,OP
• Preparation of monthly order backlog
• Preparation of weekly cash flow
• Preparation of midmonth actual versus budget versus estimate
• Annual capture of Budget for all regions
• Taxation
• Income tax for the regions
• Deferred tax for the regions
• Management of WHT
• Management of transfer pricing
• Liaising with auditors and tax consultants regarding tax
• Project accounting
• Management of actual costs (invoices) verses budget on Projects
• To ensure accuracy, completeness and consistency of project related expenses
• Accounts receivable reporting
• Weekly report on AR and overdue AR
• New Business planning and related reporting
• Energy
• Cyber security
• Public safety
• Other
• Overhead allocation/cost accounting
• Establish and implement overhead allocation per BU and region
• Banking
• Loading or approval of payments on CITI bank

Experience

• 5 - 8 years of experience in a Management, cost and tax accounting role
• Proficient with all Microsoft Office packages
• Worked with ERP system – Microsoft dynamics, SAP etc.
• Knowledge on updated South African Tax rules and VAT
• Experience in other African countries will be beneficial
• Education and Professional Qualifications
• FinanceAccounting Bachelor degree qualification is a requirement
• Honours or Masters degree will be beneficial
