Qualification:

• BCom Accounting
• SAIPA Articles or
• SAICA Articles

Skills & Experience:

• 1 to 2 years Post Article experience
• Experience with Financial Accounting
• SAP exposure, advantage
• Exposure to compliance, advantage
• Deferred Tax experience

Job Description:

• Ensure assistance with the annual statutory accounts preparation
• Actively make sure the annual statutory accounts are in line with the local law
• Focus on ensuring VAT compliance
• Provide the completion of local VAT returns and actively check all non-local VAT returns
• Ensure participation in periodic reviews of trail balance and month-end sanity checks
• Make sure that the local taxes are completed
• Budgeting and forecasting assistance will be required
• Always ensure liaison with payroll providers on accounting queries
• Project participation will be required
