Qualification:

• Honours Degree in Law or Accounting, required
• CA(SA)
• Post graduate qualification in Tax, required

Skills & Experience:

• 6 or more years’ tax experience in practice or corporate function
• Exceptional business awareness
• Clear understanding of financial service, advantage
• Technical research experience
• Comprehensive knowledge of JSE regulations and Company Law

Job Description:

• Taking ownership of Group Tax with primary focus on the legislation pertaining to tax
• Manage the analysis and reviewing of tax laws and implementation
• Provide the technical tax training to ensure tax compliance
• Take part in technical research on ad hoc projects
• Focus on the writing and reviewing of the correspondence with SARS
• Ensure that there is regular tax technical updates
• Staff training will also be required
• Provide the necessary assistance with the practical implementation and tax compliance
• Ensure the reviewing of tax implications
