Key Job Accountabilities
- Assist in optimising the product catalogue
- Perform forecast data cleansing in the demand planning tool
- Create a monthly statistical forecast using the demand planning tool
- Review and amend the forecast against the latest promo/launch plans, the trend estimate and pertinent demand drivers
- Achieve consensus for forecasts by facilitating a collaborative planning process with sales, marketing and business control personnel through the monthly forecast and validation meetings
- Build a supply plan based on validated forecasts, co-packing plan and stock and supply parameters
- Determine stock and supply parameters in line with stock and service level policy
- Manage replenishment and determine priority actions with MSL
- Monitor and reduce Out of Stocks
- Monitor and reduce Slow Movers and Obsoletes
- Prepare and maintain relevant local and international monthly reports
- Knowledge of supply chain management concepts, i.e. Plan, Source, Make, Deliver and Return
- Strong analytical and problem solving abilities (non-negotiable)

- Continuously look for service level and forecast accuracy improvement opportunities
- Critical thinking skills to identify where analysis is required & then do it

- Experience with Microsoft Office with strong experience in Excel (Advanced) and PowerPoint (Intermediate)
- Experience in and/or exposure to S&OP processes and procedures
- High level knowledge of International Logistics process
- Knowledge of statistical modeling techniques
- Bachelor’s Degree in related field
- SAP/ERP knowledge & experience
- Demand / Supply Planning systems knowledge
- 3 to 5 years planning experience
- APICS or other forecasting certification preferred
