The G Band Commercial Manager role is based within Network Job Family

The role of the Commercial Manager is to manage the Commercial team in Enterprise Access Services.

Your Responsibilities Will Include

• Co-ordinate and consolidate all the budget requirements for the annual Capex Budgeting cycle.
• Co-ordinate inputs for the Long Range Plans and maintain the various iterations thereof.
• Provide forecasts for the 12 month capital expenditure for the company, in conjunction with all the various business units, at specific intervals, i.e. (DB, 2+10, 5+7 and 9+3 ).
• Track and measure the Capex investment achieved on a monthly basis and provide variance analysis of the actuals against forecast.
• Assist with ad hoc Capex scenario planning by consolidating inputs and preparing reports and slides to explain outcomes for the various scenarios.
• Manage savings and budget transfer schedules for all budget reallocation requests.
• Co-ordinate, compile and maintain the Operating Expenditure Budget for the EAS.
• Ensure timely placement of all purchase orders for network equipment and services and expediteorders with the suppliers.
• Ensure timely processing of acceptance documents, invoices and receipting in SAP and regular liaison with Financial Operations to ensure that suppliers are paid on time.
• Ensure that the system and associated processesare effective for managing the Capex budget & Purchasing and provide input for continous improvement to the system.
• Review project accounting policies and procedures to ensure effectiveness and alignment with the Finance Group and company standards.
• Produce monthly financial management reporting for the Project Management Group on key financial indicators.
• Responsible for staff management and staff development, which includes performance planning, reviewing and evaluating of key performance areas and objectives of staff.

The Ideal Candidate For This Role Will Have

• Matric (Essential).
• Relevant Degree or National Diploma (Essential).
• 5 years’ experience in planning and managing budgets for capital projects is (Essential).
• 3 years’ experience in purchasing management is (Essential).
• Previous experience in the telecommunications environment and good knowledge of the equipment used by cellular networks.
• 2 years previous staff management experience is (Advantageous).

The base location for this role is Midrand, Business Park
