Purpose

• Actively participate to the development of the Mayo business unit, through a strong business partnership role.
• Animate CBU financial performance cycle and monitor risks and opportunities.
• Ensure timely, complete and accurate CBU business reporting and financial forecast.

Responsibilities

• Animate CBU financial performance cycle through GPS (or similar) process, and monitor risks and opportunities
• Consolidate and ensure accuracy of CBU financial forecast through rolling forecast process
• Critically review forecast and action plans at all level of the P&L (Sales, cost of goods sold, A&P, overheads), and proactively engage with the Mayo heads of functions in order to identify possible risks. additional opportunities and mitigation actions when needed.
• Ensure completeness, accuracy and timely delivery of CBU business reporting
• Follow up overheads and other income and expenses, and contribute to closing under CBS Finance supervision
• Coordinates update of local Business Intelligence tools.

Qualification And Experience

• CFA or equivalent qualification
• CA(SA) is an advantage
• Minimum Of 7 Years' Financial And/or Management Accounting Experience
• Extensive knowledge of accounting principles, controls and procedures
• Demonstrated ability to prepare Management Accounts and Financials timeously, and to provide input on operational decisions
• Computer skills (MS Office, Powerpoint and Excel)
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Demonstrated commercial acumen
