Specification

You will be required to assisting the Laboratory Manager with the efficient operation of the site laboratory on N2/15, R56/8 and MR450.

In This Role, You Will Have The Opportunity To

• Monitor operation of site laboratory and report to the RE on proposed improvements
• Supervise and review materials testing
• Acceptance control
• Auditing of acceptance control and correlation testing
• Provide Laboratory Reports
• Required to complete Material as-builts
• Visual inspection of completed works
• Monitoring and planning earthworks and materials utilisation

• National Diploma: Civil Engineering
• SANAS accredited training on site laboratory test methods (TMH1)
• 10 years experience on major roads projects as a Materials Technician
• Strong knowledge of all test methods per TMH1
• Strong knowledge of all SANRAL acceptance procedures.
