ITSI (Pty) Ltd is currently seeking a driven and detail oriented financial accountant to assist with the debtors and creditors function of a fast growing and vibrant company.

Financial Accountant

• The financial accountant will form an important part of an existing team and take responsibility for managing the debtor and creditor relations. ITSI is a fast-growing company currently expanding internationally, and the relationship with both customers and publishers are constantly evolving. We are looking for a hard-working candidate, who is proactive in decision-making and problem solving, is a team player and enjoys liaising with customers and suppliers. Currently customers consist mainly of schools, both locally and internationally, and suppliers are mainly publishers - also local and international.
• The successful candidate will have strong analytical skills and great interpersonal skills as the position is customer-facing and involves interacting with customers on a range of billing issues. The ability to liaise with publishers on queries also involves being able to think on your feet while providing a friendly service. The candidate will have to have a good technological aptitude as the position involves billing through an integrated IT system.

The position is located in Pretoria, Faerie Glen.

Key Responsibilities

• Interrogate user data for accuracy before billing;
• Liaise with both schools and publishers on queries that they have;
• Basic accounting functions;
• Prepare debit order runs;
• Invoicing;
• Monthly reconciliation and statements;
• Follow up on outstanding debtors and invoices;
• Liaise with subsidiaries internationally on outstanding receivables and payables;
• Generate sales reports for publishers; and
• Managing accounts payable payments.

Required Experience and qualifications

• BCom or similar financial degree;
• Completed traineeship/articles (SAIPA) would be preferred; and
• Computer skills including very good excel and comfortable with online database sets .
