As the Sales Academy Learning & Programme Manager, your focus will be to develop key strategies and drive the global success of the Sales Academy through flawless learning design and project management. In this capacity you will be required to work alongside the Sales Talent Manager, with executive leadership teams across both business and services units and sales and HR executives at a regional and global level.
What we expect you to do
- Instructional Design across the Sales Academy: We will expect you to work with SME’s to compile subject matter for assigned learning and training programmes, project manage streams of content within the Academy and manage the successful deployment of the completed programmes.
- Generate and implement a social learning and communications strategy: You will need to work with key stakeholders to create a robust social learning strategy that drives increased usage and visibility of the Sales Academy content.
- Contribute ideas and support HR Initiatives in the Sales GTM area: You will need to actively contribute to the improvement and implementation of our approach to Sales Education. This will require a good understanding of Dimension Data’s Sales strategy and structure and a passion to contribute to the success of this division through effective learning.
- Mobile Learning Strategy: Support the creation and implementation of a compelling mobile strategy to reinforce the JIT learning requirements of the Sales Academy.
- Sales Academy Portal: Work alongside the Sales Talent Manager and Group Marketing Lead to ensure the Sales Academy’s learning assets are displayed in a way that generates an extremely positive user experience as well as the ability to provide effective reports across Group/BU/SU and regions. Seek feedback from the learner base to continuously improve the portal without adding complexity/confusion.
- Evaluation: You will be required to co-develop an evaluation approach to ensure the content we offer remains fit for purpose and meets both business and learner needs.
- Regional Deployment: Support the Sales Talent Manger in working with the regions to ensure regional adoption and rollout of Sales Academy content.
- Sales Academy Exams: Ownership of the end-to-end deployment of the Sales Academy Exams across all regions, including managing the relationship with the portal vendor, creation of monthly reports and development and updates to exam questions.
- Project management: Take responsibility for project coordination for our global SPIN licences deployment and support the regional recoveries process around our key programmes.
- Maintain and update the Learning Management System, Dimension Data intranet and Dimension Data University portal with course offerings and delegate attendance.
Here's what we are looking for in candidates for this job
- Diploma / Degree HR, Management / Business or relevant Qualification preferred
- Learning design qualification and Project Management experience preferred
- 5-10 years’ work experience, with at least 3-5 years’ experience in a relevant field
- At least 3 years in an HR Specialist position, preferably Learning and Development
- Experience working in / or good understanding of the Sales Function is desirable
- Previous experience in working within IT organisations will be an advantage.
- A good understanding and knowledge of current HR Talent Management practices, including Learning and Development, Communication and Engagement.
- Ability to effectively programme manage across multiple projects.
- Strong relationship management and collaborative skills
- Comfortable working with high levels of change and very tight deadlines.
