    Waste Sorters - Polokwane

    Job Description   

    • The role will be responsible for sorting bottles and crates received back from customers, and/or to ensure that trucks are cleaned effectively and efficiently and/or to ensure effective and efficient waste separation, as required.

    Key Duties & Responsibilities    

    • Correctly sorted bottles and crates, in accordance with KPIs.
    • Levelled pallets and crates, in accordance with KPIs.
    • Clean trucks, in accordance with KPIs.
    • Sorted waste, in accordance with KPIs.
    • Clean and tidy working area maintained at all times.
    • Safety and housekeeping practices ensured.
    • Customer satisfaction ensured.
    • Solved situational problems.

    Skills, Experience & Education    

    Qualification and experience:

    • Grade 12 or equivalent qualification.
    • A minimum of 6 months to 1 year experience.

    Group Financial Controller

    The Group Financial Officer will:

    • Play a strong leadership role across CCBA, supporting the CFO in ensuring the overall coordination and delivery of CCBA’s organic and inorganic strategy and financial performance
    • Provide support and ensure effective execution of financial strategies, policies and reporting
    • Ensure the provision of a consolidation tool, reporting templates, IFRS updates, statutory reports as well as problem solving
    • Support Finance Projects, Systems and Process Manager in system and process optimisation as well as necessary capability development activities within all countriesThe primary purpose of the Group Financial Controller role is to:
    • Produce high quality, timely and reliable financial information for all CCBA stakeholders
    • Compliance with both IFRS and US GAAP reporting and ensuring compliance with statutory reporting requirements and liaison with external auditors of the CCBA Group
    • Coordinate and facilitate strong financial performance throughout CCBA
    • Make provision of technical accounting support and services to the group
    • Govern the chart of accounts, policies and procedures for CCBA
    • Act as a Custodian of the Chart of Authority/Delegation of Authority and compliance thereof
    • Act as a Custodian of building the financial capability within CCBA and optimise financial and reporting processes
    • Act as a Business Partner to other expert/support functions (Tax, Treasury, IT, M&A, IR and HR)
    • Manage insurance relationships and requirements

    Key Duties & Responsibilities   

    • Produce high quality, accurate, timely and relevant financial information
    • Define and execute key financial policies
    • Manage company chart of accounts
    • Ensure CCBA operates within Chart of Authority / Delegation of Authority
    • Manage group balance sheet (non-operational)
    • Deliver statutory reporting requirements
    • Prepare Annual Financial Statements
    • Head Office accounting and cost control (including recharges)
    • Chief liaison with external auditors
    • Standardization of processes and activities with all countries
    • Support special projects
    • Develop and roll out system solutions across countries
    • Support CCBA country development
    • Custodian of the building of the finance capability within the organization
    • Custodian of CCBA insurance requirements, policy and service providers
    • Support to governance and internal audit
    • Offshore entity director and chairperson on identified country audit committees

    Skills, Experience & Education    
    Qualifications:

    • Post Graduate qualification, professional qualification (e.g. CA(SA))

    Experience:

    • At least 10 years senior finance management experience
    • At least 10 years finance operational experience across the various functions
    • Previous finance management experience in a group role
    • Accounting and reporting experience
    • Strong IFRS and relevant tax legislation knowledge 
    • ERP (SAP / D365) and HFM knowledge
