    Research and Development Deputy

    What we're looking for?

    • National Diploma in Analytical Chemistry
    • B-Tech degree (Operations/Quality/Chemistry)
    • 8-10 years’ experience in a laboratory
    • 3-5 years supervisory experience
    • Advanced MS Office Skills
    • Must be familiar with laboratory instrumentation
    • Excellent Communication Skills

    You'll stand out if you have experience with the following core tasks:

    • Create and update Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) in the SAP system.
    • Develop and maintain laboratory test methods.
    • Coordinate hourly reporting for the R&D department.
    • Source, evaluate, and qualify laboratory equipment.
    • Create and maintain Bills of Materials (BOMs) 
    • Maintain and update formulations and specifications for existing products, ensuring accuracy in the specification master.
    • Compile, analyze, and interpret test results.
    • Prepare technical reports, graphs, or charts to document experimental findings.
    • Assist with lab equipment calibration and related administrative tasks, including filing Certificates of Analysis (COAs) for raw materials.
    • Provide support to the Chief Chemist and perform additional tasks as assigned.
