    Credit Controller

    Job Requirements:

    • Grade 12.
    • Credit Administration or Credit Management Diploma.
    • Basic bookkeeping or accounting qualification advantageous.
    • 2+ years’ experience in collections/ credit control environment.
    • Prior private hospital experience advantageous.
    • Ability to grasp Medical Scheme rules and requirements.
    • Computer proficiency – Excel & SAP system.

    Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Work within set collections targets and collect outstanding debt to ensure bad debt is kept to a
    • Prioritize collection of high value accounts in line with Medical Scheme payment
    • Escalate account queries and issues to Collections Manager immediately, if this cannot be personally
    • Escalate account queries to Financial Manager/Case Manager at hospital level for
    • Ensure hospitals have provided feedback alternatively follow up on outstanding issues until resolution achieved – escalate to Collections Manager were assistance is
    • Liaise with legal representatives regarding outstanding accounts / bad debt, where applicable.
    • Access Medical Scheme websites (where applicable) to monitor monies paid v outstanding and update SAP system as required
    • Contact Medical Schemes to obtain outstanding remittance and address over-payments and short-payments.
    • Contact private patients to follow up on outstanding payments or payments to be made daily prior to
    • Follow up on payment of monies due from patients if Medical Scheme Benefit Limits have been
    • Review and understand age analysis in terms of managing debtors’
    • For COID, daily contact required with COID in terms of meeting submission requirements (i.e. all required documentation is available and submitted) and regarding outstanding payments.

    Enterprise Architect

    Minimum Qualifications and Experience:

    • 3-year degree in Computer Science or related field.
    • 2-3 years’ experience as an enterprise architect in the information technology sector.
    • Technical skills – SQL, Data sourcing, enterprise data management, modelling, auditing and compliance.

    Minimum Job Requirements: 

    • Development and implementation of an effective enterprise tactical strategy in alignment with overall IT goals and objectives.
    • Formulate policies, standards and governance models for uniform technology utilisation.
    • Systemically review CHG’s technology to streamline, eliminate or integrate processes to improve the efficiency and reliability of business information.
    • Collaborate with hospital-based IT site engineers to understand the technology landscape (services and technology products) required to support hospital operations.
    • Accountable for overseeing, improving and upgrading enterprise services, software and hardware across the Group.
    • Develop and review project proposals for organisation wide enterprise work regarding technical and financial feasibility.
    • Define, model and maintain business and technology capability frameworks.
    • Define, model and maintain reference architecture viewpoints to facilitate seamless interaction between different architecture domains.
    • Propose architectural enhancements to realise enterprise security, performance and cost effectiveness.
    • Facilitate technology lifecycle management in alignment to target architecture.
    • Conduct international benchmarking to stay abreast of competitive best practice.

    Group Payroll Manager

    Minimum Requirements:

    • Degree in Finance / Human Resources / Payroll
    • Payroll certifications as added advantage
    • 3-5 Years experience as payroll manager
    • Knowledgeable in managing processes
    • Regulatory reporting experience
    • Tax Reporting

    Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Develop, implement and monitor payroll processes according to CHG quality standards, policies and governance requirements
    • Identify innovative ways to improve business practices, processes and synergies to save costs, increase efficiencies and improve service delivery
    • Take the lead and accountability of payroll for the function and establish working procedures and processes for the department
    • Support the processing of weekly payroll (agency)
    • Support the delivery of Payroll processes at hospital level through the HR Business Partners and Payroll Administrators, and resolve any escalations of non-compliance
    • Ensure the maintenance of the payroll system to meet company and legislative requirements
    • Drive and manage Payroll projects and initiatives across Functions and hospitals by working with and through HR Business Partners and Line Managers
    • Provide clarity on Payroll issues raised by various stakeholders
    • Ensure timeous resolution of stakeholder queries and complaints and take ownership of issues
    • Manage Payroll operations goals in a timeous and efficient manner
    • Ensure that all team members are competent to deliver the outputs of their jobs within a specified time after being appointed in the position
    • Comply with cost controls in order to achieve section budget
    • Identify and implement opportunities for cost reduction and to streamline processes
    • Ensure financial documentation (related to Payroll and within scope) is maintained to support accurate record keeping and future requirements as per legislation
    • Submit payroll reports timeously to finance and HR for month end processing
    • Prepare reports by compiling summaries of earnings, taxes, deductions and disability
    • Analyse information and reports to identify trends, discrepancies and inconsistencies for decision-making purposes
