What you’ll have done before:

• Degree in Engineering (Chemical, Mechanical) or equivalent (Safety Management)
• 5 – 8 years in HSEQ/ Refinery/ Depot and engineering

What you’ll be doing

• Sharing and Coaching Front line management on requirement of OHS Acts.
• Leading Operations Needs Assessments and ensuring that system is adequately maintained.
• Work with all Engen sites to ensure that compliance to Licence to operate conditions (Permits, Licence, Certificates & Standards).
• Work with facilities/sites to ensure understanding and compliance to Design, Maintenance, and operations of equipments within SOL.
• Ensure requirements for Confined Space Ventilation Plan and deviations are understood throughout the organization and adequately implemented.
• Lead Risk assessment and assurance audits.
• Developing and updating of Ops Safety procedures.
• Ensure effective implementation of Engen Safety initiatives.

What you’ll be doing

• Advancing and Coaching Front line management on requirement of OHS Acts
• Leading Operations Needs Assessments
• Ensure that all Engen sites always comply to Licence to operate conditions
• Ensure Proper Design, Maintenance and operations of equipments within SOL
• Ensure compliance of Mandatory Control Framework elements
• Coordinating the Major Hazard installation studies and ensure that Engen fully comply to this regulation
• Management and facilitation of timely KPI reporting to all internal stakeholders and presenting to external stakeholder as required by Engen
• Analyses safety performance and devise new strategies to improve
• Work with frontline on development of new initiatives
• Consolidate findings and recommendations
• Track recommendations for closure
