    Principle Specialist: Financial Modeling & Analysis

    Role purpose:

    Providing complex financial modeling and innovative analysis to support the TowerCo business.  

    Your responsibilities will include:

    • Modeling and forecasting revenue for the sales of TowerCo.
    • Developing ROI for projects, products, and new deals.
    • Modeling pricing for new products as well as tracking effectiveness for pricing for existing products and customers. 
    • Tracking the performance of existing models and providing analysis on existing business. 
    • Develop business cases as well as track and analyze existing business cases.
    • Acquire research and source data from the market to analyze and provide feedback to executives based on competitive and customer trends.
    • Proactively engage the business, customers, and the market as a whole to identify and present innovative commercial ideas to the TowerCo Executive.

    Ideally you should possess the following:

    • Matric/Grade 12 is essential.
    • 3 year relevant Degree/diploma is essential (Master / CA preferred).
    • 8 to 10 years of relevant experience. 
    • Strong communication skills – ability to engage and present at C level.
    • Expert skills in Excel and PowerPoint (Power BI a plus).

    Job Description

    Role purpose:

    Role purpose:

    Develop the new TowerCo Brand and corporate identity with ongoing marketing, events, and PR.

    Your responsibilities will include:

    • Initially develop and launch the new TowerCo brand and corporate identity.

    Business Development Manager

    Role purpose:

    Development of new Logos, innovative growth projects, new product initiatives as well as large complex deals and Tenders.

    Senior Specialist Radio Planning & Optimisation

    Role purpose:

    To provide high-level technical support in the Radio Planning and Optimisation environment and to correct network quality and Radio Planning and Optimisation impacting problems.

    Your responsibilities will include:

    • Act as team leader for the regional/county planning & optimization team.
    • Perform network optimization for the RAN network, by consulting and advising at the Regional and/or County Level.
    • Identification, planning, and implementation of new RAN equipment features and new technology, to improve quality and support rollout. 
    • Manage higher-order network element planning & configuration, including future capacity implementation and plans.
    • Liaison with central and regional stakeholders and external contractors.

    Ideally you should possess the following:

    • 3 years National Diploma or Degree in Electrical (light current) or Electronic Engineering or a SAQA accredited equivalent in a related field with at least 5 years experience in a Radio Planning and Optimisation environment within a telecommunications network operator. 
    • Good knowledge of RF antennas and systems.
    • Good knowledge and experience in Atoll planning tools.
    • GSM / UMTS / LTE planning and optimization principles.
    • Project Management basic knowledge.
    • Exposure to UMTS / LTE planning & optimization tools.
    • Radio environment knowledge (RF).
    • Exposure to IP fundamentals.
    • Nokia Equipment Knowledge is preferable.

    Specialist: Radio Planning and Optimization

    Role purpose:

    To analyze network performance, do site planning and optimization.

    Your responsibilities will include:

    • Conduct all site planning and optimization.
    • Ensure optimal performance on network quality by monitoring the network statistics through the relevant tools and implementing and determining corrective action.
    • Proactively analyze and recommend capacity dimensioning requirements on all network elements.
    • Proactively analyze and verify in-depth network problems by performing relevant traces.
    • Investigate and rectify all network failures received from regular drive testing routes by outsourcing companies (e.g. ATIO & P3).
    • Conduct cluster optimization of the existing network.

    Ideally you should possess the following:

    • Telecommunications (GSM & UTRAN) courses are essential.    
    • 3+ years of relevant GSM experience (inclusive of 2 years of UMTS experience) is essential.
    • Computer applications (e.g. MS Office & MAPINFO).    
    • The analysis tool (e.g. Netstats, Actix).    
    • GSM Knowledge    UMTS (W-CDMA) knowledge.   
    • NSS Radio Commander.    
    • Network components.    
    • Statistical tools.    
    • Current Vendor UTRAN equipment.
