Principle Specialist - Geo Marketing at Vodafone Global Enterprise

Role purpose:

Providing forecasting models that predict the areas that customers will need to co-locate in the future. 

Your responsibilities will include:

• Modeling and forecasting customer wireless transmission requirements across South Africa.
• Tracking wireless industry sites and services and providing analysis to improve the TowerCo business. 
• Tracking wireless network performance across the South African Market.
• Acquire research and source data from the market to analyze and provide feedback to executives based on technical advancement, and competitive and customer trends.
• Provide ongoing and accurate competitive intelligence and analysis of the tower market in Africa and more broadly worldwide. 
• Proactively engage the business, customers, and the market as a whole to identify and present innovative commercial ideas to the TowerCo Executive.

Ideally you should possess the following:

• Matric/Grade 12 is essential.
• 3-year relevant Degree/diploma (Master preferred). 
• 8 years + relevant experience.
• Strong communication skills – ability to engage and present at C level.
• Strong business acumen.
• Strong Technical analytical proficiency.
• Strong wireless technical proficiency. 
• Wireless planning experience (preferred).
• Wireless industry experience.
• Expert skills in Excel and PowerPoint (Power BI a plus).
