    Supervisor, Call Centre Inbound, Road Logistics

    Main Purpose of The Role:

    • Manage and oversee the day-to-day allocations, follow ups and Archive. Make sure that tasks for the day are actioned timeously and that work is not left behind at EOD. Manage the quality scores per agent, leave trends, agents’ behavior on the floor and work hand in hand with QA and HR to bring agents to meet the required SLA’s per customer. Manage client escalations as well as internal escalations and provide resolutions to complaints.

    Minimum Requirements:

    •    Training experience 
    •    Extensive experience in excel
    •    Minimum of 1 year experience as a Supervisor in a courier environment
    •    Experience in actioning client investigations and escalations

    Electives:

    •    Ability to work without supervision
    •    Ability to handle client objections and escalations when required
    •    Identify system issues and areas of improvement
    •    To ensure compliance to Call Centre query processes
    •    Meeting project deadlines
    •    Ensure accurate data is captured and correct information is communicated

    Duties and Responsibilities:

    •    Make sure that all targets and deadlines as per Call Centre SLA’s are met

    Manager, Operations, Solutions

    MAIN PURPOSE OF THE ROLE

    Work closely with site Managers (Off site Clients) to achive the following:

    • Prepare data Set
    • Prepare printplan, pick and pack plan and distribution plan
    • Accurate recieveing, picking, packing and distribution of goods.
    • Accurate inventory accuracy
    • Implement affective CIP and drive quality standards.
    • Achieve Sigma targets set out By Branch Manager
    • Achieve audit targets set out by Branch Manager
    • Positive EBIT results
    • 100% Distribution as per agreed project plans
    • Travel to Bloemfontein and Potcehfstroom on weekly basis during project times.

    Tertiary Qualification(s)

    • Matric
    • Warehouse and Logistics Diploma and Project Management Diploma

    Additional Computer Skills

    • MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook,
    • 5 years' experience and highly effective working knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems.
    • Proficient in Excel for data management and reporting

    Job-related Requirements

    • Minimum of 2 years relevant experience in industry with in depth experience in all job-related requirements listed below.
    • Supply chain and logistics; Operations: Extensive knowledge and hands on skill related to Inbound, Stock Management, Outbound / Order Fulfilment, Return processes and effective Packaging; Stock Management includes: Audits (perpetual and wall to wall), SKU Master maintenance, SKU Consolidation, volumetric and product categorization), Space Utilization & Density Measurement, Pick-face Replenishment Strategies .

    Have you managed multiple projects within Operations.

    • Data; Capabilities to take Raw data and convert it to executable data, with project plan, print plan and distribution plan.
    • Distribution; Manage to distribution of the clients stock to final destination, Hiring vehicles resources to acomplies this by sticking withing budget requirements.
    • Problem Solving: Effective Root Cause Analysis, Problem Solving and implementation of Corrective and Preventative Measures;
    • Management: Must be able to do all managerial functions (Planning, Organizing, Leading, Controlling, Monitoring) independently, effectively and reliably;
    • Communication: Must communicate effectively (written and verbal) to manage and meet both internal and external customer expectations;
    • Compliance:Must ensure full site compliance, including the following: DSV Policies, Regulations, Work Instructions, Maintenance Schedule and Local Authority requirements;
    • Stress and Conflict Management: Must have effective techniques and/or skills to manage conflict, cope with stress and work effectively under constant pressure;
    • Quality Management and CIP: Knowledge and experience of QMS such as ISO 9001, 14001, 18001, as well as Continuous Improvement Processes and Risk Management;
    • Commercial; Ensure tight cost control (incl. all facets of procurement)
    • HR and IR: Must be able to effectively lead, train, develop, performance measure and performance manage all subordinates to ensure high morale, productivity and retention. This includes advanced knowledge of Industrial Relations and Processes

    • Project planning, resource planning and packaging material planning.
    • Daily stock comparisons to be done.
    • Scanner register updated daily in issuing and retrieving of equipment.
    • Manage SKU and Bin Maintenance
    • Manage Picking induction and sorter through put.
    • Query resolutions for short picks / miss scans
    • Disciplinary actions
    • Continues Monitoring on WMS System that process are being followed.
    • Arrange dedicated vehicles with armed estcourts for delivery on planned delivery days
    • Depart vehicles on the day with aremed Estcourts
    • Liase with transported and estcourts on the ofload load trucks.

    Business Development Manager, Projects, Air & Sea

    Main Purpose Of The Role

    • Main purpose is to grow the Projects, Mining and Oil & Gas verticals through market intelligence.
    • Role will also be focused on maintaining and building more strategic relationships with current clients in this space. Importantly, the role will require individual to provide insight and direction to DSV’s commercial approach when tendering for new projects. This role is subject to meeting set commercial targets as defined by the business.

    Minimum Requirements

    • Minimum 3 – 5 years client facing project experience (Mining, Oil & Gas) in Logistics, Supply Chain or Freight Forwarding/Shipping Line.
    • Own reliable vehicle
    • Valid endorsed driver’s license
    • Ability to work overtime when required
    • Ability to travel locally and internationally

    Qualifications

    • National Diploma / B. Degree/ B. Tech preferable.
    • Sales Training Courses an advantage
