    Sales Specialist: Advertising (Marketplace Sponsored Product Ads)

    Your responsibilities will include:

    • Driving the adoption and usage of Takealot’s self service advertising platform for Sponsored Product Ads; by Marketplace sellers
    • Evaluate success metrics and drive campaign performance using data
    • Consistently meet and surpass advertising sales targets for the platform
    • Assist in development of promotional material and content to encourage adoption of the platform by Marketplace Sellers
    • Provide support to Marketplace Key Account Managers to encourage usage of the advertising platform by their Key Accounts and problem solve issues with these accounts
    • Implement new seller acquisition strategies
    • Collect feedback from sellers about the advertising platform and provide useful insights to further enhance the platform
    • Assist in building case studies of the successful usage of the tools
    • Work with the internal Seller Communication team to develop and present material for seller events to drive adoption
    • Contribute to the development and hosting of educational webinars to train users on performance metrics, insights, and how to drive greater results
    • Escalate any operational platform issues to the technical teams to resolve

    • Demonstrated ability to consistently achieve sales targets
    • Strong track record of internal and external relationship management

    AdTech Sales Manager

    Your responsibilities will include:

    • Driving the adoption and usage of Takealot’s self service advertising platform by Retail Suppliers and Advertising agencies
    • Develop promotional material and content to encourage adoption of the platform by Retail Suppliers
    • Engaging with suppliers to suggest potential strategies to optimize campaigns and converting existing ad customers to use the self-service tool.
    • Create and implement new supplier acquisition strategies, and drive long term re-engagement for onboarded advertisers
    • Collect feedback from suppliers about the advertising platform and provide useful insights to further enhance the platform
    • Build case studies of the successful usage of the self-service tools to drive adoption by ad agencies.
    • Work with the internal supplier Communication team and external providers to develop and present material for supplier events to drive adoption
    • Run educational webinars to train users (agencies or suppliers) in the best use of the platform and how to optimize their campaigns
    • Run events to market the advertising platform and explain its benefits
    • Escalate any operational platform issues to the technical teams to resolve

    Group Advertising Sales Specialist

    Your responsibilities will include:

    • Maximise value from existing Takealot Group relationships (brands and sellers)
    • Directly attracting new brands, agencies and non-retail advertisers to invest in new and existing advertising inventory
    • Initiating, designing and ensuring implementation of group advertising campaigns
    • Target suppliers and sellers (working with internal teams) to offer additional value through group advertising options
    • Customise group advertising campaigns for high value clients
    • Continuously contribute to the enhancement of the group rate card and pitch deck for standard campaigns
    • Obtain assets required for designers to implement campaigns
    • Ensure all booked advertising campaigns are added to the marketing calendar (briefed into retail marketing managers) and executed effectively and on time
    • Oversee billing and payment
    • Oversee campaign tracking reports and communicate outcomes to clients, building a campaign execution portfolio
    • Consistently meet and surpass advertising sales targets
    • Leverage Takealot’s innovations and insights to find, attract, and engage intended audiences to ensure that advertising campaigns meet the success criteria set by the client

    • Act as a strategic partner to advertising clients and sell a broad range of advertising solutions that will ensure that their business goals are met

    Automation Project Manager

    • Designing and implementing mechanization infrastructure to either support the business growth or bring optimization to an existing process
    • Procurement of equipment to support operations and processes

    • Analysing and implementing new automation within the distribution center operations, under the guidance of the Automation Applications Engineer

    • Working knowledge of PLC control and programming is a requirement
    • Previous experience in a project space in Distribution Centres, production environment or warehousing on a large scale with complex operations would be advantageous
