    Project Manager: Marketing (Internal Applications)

    What are we looking for?

    • We are looking for someone with the following experience, qualifications and /or skillsets:

    Purpose Statement

    • The Project Manager is responsible for the planning, budgeting, monitoring and reporting of projects within the Marketing and Communication department within Curro Holdings to ensure that the project is completed to the satisfaction of all stakeholders, within the designated budget (where applicable) and timelines. The project manager will be required to oversee brand-related projects such as the Leads to Alumni project, contracting with suppliers and to manage the data, analytics, website and reporting\'s team of project leads.

    Education (Formal Qualification Required)

    Minimum

    • Diploma (or equivalent qualification) in project management

    Advantageous

    • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field

    Legal Requirements (e.g. Driver’s License etc.)

    Minimum

    • 3 – 5 years’ experience within a project management environment.

    Key Performance Area

    • Project Planning and Execution  
    • Manage projects and any other initiatives assigned by the Portfolio Manager.
    • Develop and implement comprehensive marketing project plans and schedules.
    • Ensure project deliverables are completed on time and within budget.
    • Track and report project progress to senior management
    • Ensure project scope and objectives are clearly defined and communicated to the team.
    • Establish a reporting protocol with the project resources so that progress can be tracked efficiently.
    • Track and report project status to the portfolio manager as per agreed reporting intervals, highlighting successes and possible risks timeously

    Resource Management 

    • Identify and allocate appropriate resources for project tasks.
    • Ensure team members have the necessary tools and equipment to complete their work.
    • Monitor resource utilization and adjust as needed to stay within budget.
    • Manage vendor relationships and contracts.
    • Oversee the execution of the project taking into consideration the following:
      • Monitor the progress of the project against the agreed timelines.
      • Oversee the team working on the project and provide information they require timeously.
      • Manage delays and plan accordingly.
      • Identify and resolve issues that may arise that could impact the outcome of the project scope or timelines.
      • Communicate timeously with the portfolio manager and the team on any important developments that relate to the project.
      • Oversee the assigned project budget (where applicable).
      • Provide a final analysis of the project and the final outcome identifying possible areas for improvements in future similar projects.

    Risk Management

    • Identify and assess project risks and develop risk mitigation strategies.
    • Monitor and manage project risks throughout the project lifecycle.
    • Communicate risks and their potential impact to stakeholders.
    • Manage issues and escalate as needed to senior management

    Team Management

    • Build and lead a high-performing marketing project team.
    • Foster a collaborative team environment and ensure team members are motivated and engaged.
    • Provide regular feedback to team members and manage performance.
    • Develop team members\\' skills and knowledge through training and coaching

    Stakeholder Management

    • Always maintain a professional image with all stakeholders.
    • Ensure all stakeholders are adequately informed on progress with the project/s and provide feedback when requested by the portfolio manager.
    • Identify and engage project stakeholders, including clients, team members, and external partners.
    • Manage stakeholder expectations and ensure their requirements are being met.
    • Communicate project updates and progress to stakeholders.
    • Resolve stakeholder issues and conflicts as they arise.
    • Budget and Cost Control
    • Develop and manage project budgets, including forecasting and variance analysis.
    • Control project costs and ensure expenses are within approved budget limits.
    • Provide regular financial reports to senior management.
    • Identify opportunities for cost savings and cost avoidance

    Economics and Business Studies Teacher (Grades 10 to 12)

    What are we looking for?
    We are looking for someone with the following experience, qualifications and /or skillsets:

    • An appropriate academic and professional education qualification from a recognized institution.
    • 3 years’ experience in teaching Economics and Business Studies.  
    • Must be proficient and comfortable working with technology-enhanced teaching and learning.
    • Current SACE registration.
    • To plan, control, record and report on Assessments.
    • To attend meetings, forums, workshops for the grade/ phase as required.
    • To create an educational atmosphere in the classroom.
    • To be responsible for any and all school equipment and stock in the control of the teacher and class.
    • To work closely with the teachers in the Grades to ensure the effective running of the Grades.
    • To manage, plan, assist and promote teaching and learning within the class.
    • To manage, plan, assist and promote activities (sport and culture) within the School.
    • To manage, plan, assist and promote discipline within the Grades.
    • Be prepared to assist with sport and other Admin duties as and when the need arises.
    • A clear criminal record is essential.
    • IEB experience is essential.
    • Personal commitment to Christian education and a willingness to contribute to the values and ethos of the School is essential.

    Business Studies Teacher (FET Phase)

    What are we looking for?
    We are looking for someone with the following experience, qualifications and /or skillsets:

    • Educator must have a teaching diploma/ degree for the relevant subjects.
    • Minimum 3 years experience in teaching FET Phase
    • Medium of instruction is both English and Afrikaans
    • Must be registered with SACE and have a valid SACE certificate.
    • IEB experience is essential
    • Must be technologically savvy and experience in hybrid teaching will be an added advantage.
    • COVID19 Vaccination Certificate is essential

    Estate Manager - Rustenburg

    What are we looking for?
    We are looking for someone with the following experience, qualifications and /or skillsets:

    • Conceptualise, plan and execute external and internal acquisition/enrolment drives so as to achieve our enrolment targets. Equally important, the successful applicant will need to nurture and maintain current learner/school relationships so as to ensure that current families remain brand ambassadors for the school.
    • Proactively manage all leads to ensure sales conversion in line with enrolment targets.
    • Create an agile, creative, yet realistic marketing plan that is aligned with the executive head’s vision and plans for the school.
    • Together with the executive head and bursar, manage the school’s marketing budget and allocation thereof.
    • Manage the school’s social media presence on different platforms. This includes ensuring that the school information on the Curro website is maintained, current and in line with the brand/school CI.
    • Ensure the correct use of and management of the school CI including, but not limited to ensuring that new materials for the school are packaged and deployed correctly; that the school and Curro CI is current, consistently applied and utilised on relevant platforms/channels; conduct brand audits on collateral and campus signage.
    • Manage communications with various stakeholder groups (ranging from parents, learners, staff, local businesses, media and other Curro schools) and ensure that the school’s communications with the different groups is professional and of a client-centric nature at all times.
    • Regular liaising with the broader school/town community to ensure their involvement, buy-in and that they can be mobilised as required in terms of the school marketing strategy.

    Qualifications

    • A marketing/communications degree or diploma (three years’ working experience in a school or related industry) with a solid understanding of different marketing techniques.

    Knowledge and skills

    • Above-average knowledge and experience in using the full MS Office suite of programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, TEAMS, etc.)
    • Relationship-building/a customer service orientation with a proven network within the relevant community
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills (English and isiXhosa)
