    Lecturer (Live Acting and performance/Acting for camera/TV Presenting) (JB2436)

    Lecturing activities are held to the guidelines as set out by the assessment handbook, quality control council standards and teaching and learning guide of the institution. The post holder will participate in wider activities undertaken by the Organisation.

    Educational Requirements:

    • One Qualification level higher than that being taught but a minimum of a degree
    • Lecturing Acting for Camera, live performance, and TV presenting
    • Completed or involved in NQF Level 9 study
    • 5 years industry or 3 years lecturing experience

    Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Content development
    • Maintenance and updating of content relevant to subjects taught

    • Prepare and plan for lectures and provide additional notes to students

    Academic Manager (JB1789)

    Aligned to the Institutions vision and strategy, the Academic Manager (Operations) provides academic administrative leadership and accountability for all academic administrative tasks in the assessment department, which include interalia, management and support of academic administration, assessment, certification, and graduation processes. Responsible for managing and support heads of faculties, with the operational delivery of programmes, material and assessment management and development of integrated quality assurance at campus level. Academic Manager has a sound understanding of learner management systems, particularly Moodle. This role requires preferably an academic who has the relevant background, at least 5 years’ experience in an academic administration.

    Educational Requirements:

    • PhD or Doctorate preferred but a minimum of a master’s degree.
    • At least five years at Senior Management level in higher education
    • At least three years high-level Academic Operational experience
    • A proven teaching and research portfolio with curriculum development and assessment design experience.
    • Experience in dealing with regulatory affairs and academic quality assurance processes within a higher education environment

    General Manager (Campus Manager) - JB1676

    Educational requirements:

    1. Relevant Degree
    2. ETQA Experience
    3. 3 years plus experience in a management role
    4. Experience: 3-10 years’ experience in Training and Development environment
    5. High level of competency in MS office, Particularly Word, and Excel

    Duties and Responsibilities:

    1. Daily operations management
    2. Budget and finance management
    3. Sales and performance management
    4. Oversee, direct, and lead the daily operations of the campus to ensure a high-quality service to every student
    5. Driving the performance of the sales team on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis to achieve/exceed the campus annual targets
    6. Ensure service levels to students are optimized and that the turnaround times to resolve issues are raised by students is within the agreed parameters
    7. Manage and co-ordinate marketing activities at campus level and work closely with the head office marketing team in this regard
    8. Staff management: interacting, coaching, recognizing superior performance and addressing substandard performance of team members
    9. Key objective is to achieve the budgeted EBIDA for the campus for the period under review. This involves manage both the revenue and operational expenses daily.
    10. To ensure the highest quality of teaching and learning on campus. This includes continuous assessments of lecturers’ performance, working closely with committees and academic boards in head office and the academic department at head office
    11. Ensure that campus is fully complaint with all accreditation requirements from a statutory perspective
    12. To ensure that rollover and retention ratios for the campus are attained, and corrective action plans put in place to address non-compliance thereto
    13. Ensure that the campus is always presentable i.e., well maintained, clean, everything is working, all IT systems and equipment are operational
    14. Ensure management interaction with students is optimized including things like the SRC, CSI projects at campus level, sports days, parents’ functions etc.
