    Manager, Internal Audit - Insurance (Long Term) (GIA IAM)

    Job Description

    To lead and review the audit process for a portfolio of audits through audit execution and oversight of the audit team to independently and objectively provide assurance that enables client centric risk management.

    • Build strong relationships with relevant senior internal stakeholders to understand the business and to enable assurance processes and GIA's wider objectives.
    • Assess, identify and report on practices in the scope of audit projects which negatively impact client experience and raise recommendations to improve client experience.
    • Adhere to GIA methodology, policies and procedures. Manage adherence of team members on audit projects. Guide team members to enhance their understanding and application of GIA methodology, policies and procedures.
    • Develop and maintain a risk assessment on all areas of risk origination and risk management of the business area responsible for, covering all the risk types to inform audit planning and reporting.
    • Contribute to the effective development of audit technology by providing input on technology needs.

    Lead, Regulatory & Strategy Enablement - Global Markets

    Job Description

    To support overall function in defining, adapting and embedding overall strategic and operational objectives through the provision of high-quality regulatory advisory, analytical, project management and administrative capability to mitigate the impact of regulatory changes across markets, considering the strategic requirements and international best practice.

    Lead strategic imperatives by partnering relevant networks and stakeholders to execute and leverage regulations to achieve strategy and enable new commercial opportunities. Provide regulatory subject matter expertise and input into strategy with timely and insightful briefs and advice on regulatory developments, their international and local impacts on the business, to enable the business to be commercially successful whilst legally and statutorily sound.

    Build, maintain and extend partnerships with internal stakeholders (Legal, Compliance, Risk, Finance, Advocacy, Prudential teams, Sales & Trading) to clearly communicate regulatory requirements and standards, gather cross functional insights, deepen understanding and raise organisational awareness of regulatory matters affecting the business.

    Job Description

    Perform deploy and operate work that pertains to Mainframe DB2 database administrators.  The installation, maintenance and performance management of the Mainframe DB2  related vendor products.  Support application teams.  Support other infrastructure teams i.e. (z/OS ; Capacity Management; Storage; CICS and different application teams  running on Mainframe DB2).

    Provide guidance as required to the architecture and design teams re: Database Design and Performance monitoring and tuning.

      • Upgrades and fixes in accordance with related deployment and release schedules.

    •  Support Operational Controls processes (Audits, Risk and DR& BCM governance, business processes improvements, performance management, and finance and business management), supply requested information and implement corrective actions as applicable.
    • Perform standby and call out duties as required.
