    EHS Site Manager - Epping

    Job Description

    Responsibilities

    • Lead a site team of EHS Specialist and Coordinators to fully implement PepsiCo EHS Standards across all departments and shifts.
    • Lead monthly Site Management meetings to address critical areas of EHS performance and drive resolution of action plans.
    • Develop & ensure implementation of all the required EHS compliance procedures, work instructions & policies.
    • Lead roll-out of PepsiCo EHS Best Practices across all departments and shifts.
    • Lead the identification of continuous Improvement versus PepsiCo set of KPIs through conducting performance reviews with EHS management & cross functional management to ensure performance as per AOP targetsDefine & implement EHS planned Inspections on regular intervals & report findings on myEHS.
    • Lead the implementation of PepsiCo Behaviour Based Safety program at assigned pilot site.
    • Lead internal EHS compliance through regular audits and ensuring action plans are monitored & effective corrective actions are implementedWork closely with Site Management ensure consistent financial performance versus AOP plan.
    • Ensure the site is complying with PepsiCo GEHSMS, ISO 45001, & ISO 14001 international standards.
    • Ensure deployment of annual EHS training plan across all departments in liaison with the EHS Capability Lead to achieve the annual organization training plans.
    • Report all EHS KPIs monthly on PepsiCo's MyEHS system and reporting of all incidents & NMs according to PepsiCo EHS incidents reporting standard.
    • Effectively manage the EHS culture transformation & risk transformation plans.
    • Effectively facilitate the PepsiCo Multi-certification audit program through external audit team - ERM.

    Qualifications

    • Tertiary qualification in EHS, i.e. National Diploma and 3-5 years experience within the FMCG environment

    What we’re looking for:

    We’re looking for a Capability Specialist: Commercial, Marketing & R&D to join our Talent Management team.  

    • Support; facilitate and implement sector led L&D initiatives
    • Facilitate internal professional skills programmes
    • Partnering with L&D Manager and L&D sector to keep abreast of sector/ global led programme and ensure implementation
    • Supports L&D AOP process in as far as sector led initiatives are concerned

    Accountabilities:

    • Manages sector driven and professional skills training life-cycle, including new training coordination, implementation, training delivery, facilitation for assigned interventions and evaluation of training programs and tools
    • Able to contract and influence Sector CoE to ensure that Sector generated initiatives meet local needs
    • Works with L&D Manager and Specialists to provide sector input on programmes and ensure testing & customisation to local context and needs.
    • Defines and measures the impact of learning and training investments on business outcomes, including creating business cases and measuring return on investment
    • Manages conversations with relevant stakeholders to ensure high quality execution of process and programs
    • Collaborate with other facilitators to leverage existing programs, tools and create best practices
    • Utilize LMS, online and mobile learning strategies developed by CoE (e.g., drive self-nomination for core professional, skills programs via myLearning)
    • Supports SDF with timeous submission of a workplace skills plan and reporting to the relevant government department
    • Oversees training budget for particular area of responsibility
    • Provides updates on all of the above to L&D Manager to ensure alignment with overall SSA L&D agenda
    • Sourcing suitable solutions for local needs based on benchmarks and networks with other BUs

    Qualifications

    • 3 year HR Degree
    • 3-5 years’ experience within a L&D team in FMCG
