Purpose of the job
An exciting opportunity for a Warehouse Systems Manager exists in the Supply Chain team at our Head Office. As the successful incumbent, you will lead our Supply Chain Systems team and take responsibility for the successful operation and continued enhancement of our Warehouse Management Systems.
In addition, you will interact closely with DC Operations to understand their challenges and problems, drawing connections and translating business needs to ensure continuous systems improvement and designing system solutions as part of the wider Supply Chain team of specialists.
The successful candidate will play a critical role in the transformational journey of the PEP Supply chain. This journey has already started and the candidate will contribute to the redesign of processes and systems.
You will have the opportunity to learn and understand business processes, increase your knowledge and understanding of a large, complex and successful retail company’s supply chain, with the focus on warehouse management systems.
Requirements
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead the transition from an in-house developed WMS to Manhattan WMOS
- Investigate and propose new supply chain developments and technology
- Oversee the governance and implementation of system changes and features
- Lead change management efforts to ensure systems changes are adopted
- Develop, maintain and monitor user support and training
- Ensure effective and efficient incident management
- Project management of large scale system changes and rollouts
- Lead and develop a team of System Analysts
JOB INCUMBENT REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems or related fields
- 8+ years relevant experience
- Management experience
- Extensive experience in a warehouse systems environment (Tier 1 WMS System)
- Retail experience will be an advantage
- Proficient in Google Workspace or MS Office Suite
- The following will be an advantage:
- Retail Experience
- Experience with Business Process Management (BPM) software tools i.e. Symbio, Jira, ARIS, etc.
- Programming experience, i.e. SQL, MySQL
- Competencies required: Decisiveness, Performing under pressure, Structuring, Assertiveness, Initiative, Listening Skills, Organizational Sensitivity and Innovating

PURPOSE OF THE JOB
To analyse key financial information to optimise financial planning and to implement strategies to reduce operational costs.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Analyse financial data and other operating information to identify efficiency improvements or better cost management
- Review Financial performance against key metrics, identify areas of concern by providing feedback to the business to support strategic decision making as required
- Support process efficiency improvements in Finance and other support functions
- Non-trade procurement management: Negotiations, tenders and review
- Provide analysis and commentary on financial results and implications and advises on corrective action to be taken
- Interact with the business on financial outcomes and expense trends
- Analyse and report on variances
- Generate management reports and financial information to manage costs efficiently
- Minor level of financial control and reporting: financial reconciliations, month-end reporting, budgeting
- Risk Management Reporting
- Ad hoc data analytics and reporting
- Identify opportunities to enhance management reporting and ensure/advise corrective action
- Work collaboratively with Systems Manager to automate management reporting and create predictive analytical insights and scenario planning to drive cost efficiency culture
- Initiate and coordinate projects with other teams focussing on cost management and improving efficiencies
- Develop and execute standardised models, templates and processes for planning, budgeting and forecasting
Requirements
JOB INCUMBENT REQUIREMENTS
- Preference for CA, CIMA qualification or related qualification
- Financial and Management Reporting, 3 to 5 years related experience, preferable in retail environment and or commercial environment
- Operational reporting (especially cost management) is preferential
- Previous experience preferably in large entities
- SAP, financial reporting

Purpose of the job
- To support the overall merchandising standards in the stores, which include window displays, in-store displays, product merchandising and marketing material
Requirements
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Visual Merchandise Manager in developing, updating and maintaining the merchandise standards manual (PEPGrow) to ensure correct implementation in stores
- Creation of merchandising guidelines for window- and in-store displays
- Develop and communicate monthly guidelines for window displays and in-store displays
- Preparation of Seasonal sales plan and workshop documents
- Create VM workshop documents to support field structure with VM in stores
- Support field with physical new store openings and workshops
- Visual Merchandise projects & fixture rollout assistance
- Researches industry standards for VM
- Ad hoc projects
JOB INCUMBENT REQUIREMENTS
- Grade 12
- Driver’s licence
- Tertiary qualification in fashion/interior/graphic design
- Experience in visual merchandising will be an advantage
- Willingness to travel
- Computer Literate (MS Office)
- Experience in shop fitting and space planning will be an advantage
- Competency in Adobe Creative Suite programmes eg. Indesign, Photoshop and Adobe XI
- Skilled in Sketch Up Pro
