What will you do?
This role will report to the Business Manager
Your primary focus will be to work with brokers being the interface between themselves and Sanlam to reach business objectives in a dynamic, innovative and high performance business.This is a third party marketing role and the Broker Consultant markets and promotes Sanlam products to Brokers. The Broker Consultant seeks to build a trusting and partnering relationship that seeks to build new business opportunities; supports and up-skill Brokers with relevant information, tools and technologies that will enable them in their practice.

What will you do?
Responsible for the timely and effective response to IT user queries and problems through the receipt and logging of problems and the co-ordination of rapid and appropriate responses for basic problem resolution for new and existing systems, and provides basic telephonic training on these systems when required.
Escalates more complex problems but must manage the incident to completion. Identifies interim and long-term solutions and provides regular updates to the Senior Problem Analyst. Participates in internal forums and work groups to contribute to the methodology and standards.

Deliver a first line support service via the Service Desk by logging Incidents and Service Requests received telephonically and via e-mail.
Offering technical advice to end users. This will include working as part of a team, to share knowledge and work together to increase performance standards.
Actively troubleshoot to identify, assess, record, resolve and / or escalate incidents and service requests ensuring they are handled within the agreed SLA, according to the agreed processes and in a professional and customer sensitive manner.
Deliver an after hour standby first line support service to end users. This is a Service that is delivered by the Service Desk team on a rotational basis.
Providing daily feedback to end users on outstanding active calls.
Manage a variety of tasks and activities which may require adjustments to priorities to satisfy business needs.
Work within defined deadlines as part of a team and on an individual basis ensuring assigned work is effectively managed.
Any task given to ensure great service delivery.
Qualification and Experience
Degree or Diploma and required Certification with 2 years related experience. ITIL Foundation certified

What will you do?
• Day to day Employee Benefits administration
• Daily administration and processing of the consultancy fee payments to Internal and External Brokers
• Payments and checks to be done on MIP and Pastel system
• Investigate, resolve and provide feedback to Fund Accountant on all general ledger queries
• A thorough understanding of the Pension Fund Act and Fund Rules
• Reconcile and flagging of the Housing loans
• Ensure all documentation is attached before flagging and closing an incident
• Follow-ups to be done for outstanding schedules and liaise with different financial institutions
• Process and recover Sundry/Asset Based Fees from the member’s records on a monthly basis for FundAccounting
• Ensure all processing is done within service level agreement
• Ensure all ad hoc requests are attended to
• Handle all client inquiries in a professional manner
• Manage relationships with internal departments, resolve and route queries effectively
• Complete log sheets timeously for reporting
• Assist with testing when necessary

• Previous retirement fund experience
• Certificate of Proficiency (COP) or an Introduction to Retirement Funds (IRF) qualification will be advantageous

• Knowledge of Section 14 of the PFA, Individual member switches, Lifestages, Recognition of transfers
