    Head: Credit Advocacy

    Purpose Statement

    • Accountable for the preservation of Capitec’s public perception and reputation in so far as it relates to Credit. This includes, among other things, engaging with the media, credit industry, regulators, political forums and legal representation. Responsible for regulatory and industry engagements, responses, and submissions on credit related matters. Responsible to articulate Capitec’s credit approach to internal and external stakeholders. Responsible to drive “Good for client” regulatory and industry change within the Credit market. Accountable for change management, to ensure the alignment of internal stakeholders (at an executive and senior management level) with industry and regulatory changes, developments, and compliance requirements. Responsible to drive conduct standards within Credit processes, systems, services, and products.

    Experience

    Minimum:

    • 8 years’ experience within banking or financial services industry 

    • 3 years’ experience at senior management level and working with executive management

    • Experience in organisational change initiatives 

    • Persuading and influencing capabilities 

    • Self-disciplined and self-motivated

    • Formulating strategies and concepts

    • Leading and supervising 

    Ideal:

    • Legal experience especially in the retail credit space

    Qualifications (Minimum)

    • A relevant tertiary qualification in Business Management or Credit Risk Management

    Qualifications (Ideal or Preferred)

    • A relevant post-graduate qualification in Business Management or Credit Risk Management

    • Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA)

    Knowledge

    Knowledge of the following areas are required to perform the job:

    Developer: Enterprise Content Management

    Purpose Statement

    • To develop solutions in line with business requirements and to support and develop integrated solutions to work with the Business Bank Enterprise Content Management solutions and line of business applications. 

    Experience

    Minimum:

    • 3-5yrs IT/Developer experience with at least 2yrs experience in ECM

    • Workflow implementation and configuration, minimum 2 years 

    • Html ./ XML / Java Script (J Son) coding skills 

    • SQL Query and relational Database experience or relevant qualification 

    • Exposure to Web Development Toolkit 

    • Exposure to BI Toolsets & Reporting / Dashboard development 


    Ideal:

    UX Designer II (Pipeline)

    Purpose Statement

    • To develop, evaluate, implement and influence world class User/Client Experience (UX) design for digital platforms whilst conforming to the Capitec brand fundamentals to optimise the client experience. 

    • To constantly enhance user experience through usability studies, contributing to translating feature requirements into interactive and visual designs across platforms, and work closely with Technology teams and User Interface (UI) Designers, and/or creating.

    Education (Minimum)

    • Grade 12 National Certificate / Vocational

    Education (Ideal or Preferred)

    • A relevant tertiary qualification

    Knowledge and Experience

    Knowledge:

    Minimum:

    • Knowledge of:

    • Sketch, Figma or similar 

    • Prototyping using InVision or similar 

    • Thorough understanding of simplified user-centred design methodologies 

    • Understanding of Google Material Design 

     

    Ideal:

    • Knowledge of psychology and/or anthropology (as it pertains to CX/UX principles)

    • Agile practices 

     

    Experience:

    • At least 5 years’ experience in UX design for mobile devices and web
