    Logistics Excellence Manager

    JOB PURPOSE

    • Develops and implements strategies to improve Cluster Logistics program and support Global Logistics Program.
    • Achieves or exceeds Cluster KPI targets such as Savings, Cost, Efficiency, Sustainability
    • Improves best practice sharing culture via Community of Practices
    • Drives consistency in World Class Logistics deployment and opportunity identification based on review of top and bottom performers

    KEY RESPONSIBILITES

    • Leads Cluster Logistics Center of Excellence team
    • Drives the investigation of latest developments in the global and cluster logistics market, understanding the market situation, future tendencies and enhancing external best practices and development of strategies and plans to embed outside in view into Unilever particularly
    • Drives the Savings program for the cluster and ensure the gap closing programs are put in place.
    • Leads the evaluation of new best practices and the definiton of approved best practices in line with WCL
    • Ensures that Center of Excellence team supports Market Assessment teams and Peer Reviewers for identifying opportunities during World Class Logistics (WCL) assessment cycles
    • Drives Cluster Logistics Transformation with MCO Leads and drives market assessment to confirm feasibility and estimated benefit / effort for WCL assessments
    • Provides input to Global WCL Lead to evaluate capabilities and availabilities to support the implementation of WCL initiatives in the cluster
    • Ensures that Center of Excellence team supports region/market Project teams for implementing WCL initiatives
    • Acts as the Cluster SME for Delivery in WCL program
    • Collects new Delivery best practices and WCL playbook update suggestions from the operations
    • Assesses the value of new Delivery best practices and decides whether to include them in cluster program
    • Defines the content of chosen new Delivery best practices
    • Maintains assessment scoring model for Fulfilment topics
    • Conducts Delivery Community of Practice meetings to enable cross learning globally by sharing best practices
    • Maintains the members of the Delivery Community of Practice
    • Supports WCL assessment cycles during deployment by conducting on site assessment reviews of the markets and WH sites selected by Global Logistics Transformation Region Lead
    • Reviews KPI performance of the selected market or WH site against the peers in the same archetype
    • Reviews self assessment and peer review of the selected market or WH site and identifies focus areas for the on site review
    • Conducts on site review together with local Market Assessment team
    • Calibrates self-assessment score of the selected market or WH site after the on site review if needed
    • Identifies additional opportunities and new best practices after the on site review

    Knowledge / Skills / Experience

    • Has degree or equivalent
    • Ability to work across organizations and levels Logistics leadership (e.g. Cluster Logistics Heads, Global Logistics Transformation Region Leads, etc.) in Delivery as the sparring partner
    • Has proven leadership experience of running cluster programs in Manex, Logex, PG
    • Has strong interpersonal skills: can coach, motivate, and convince stakeholders from different levels and markets by using the right structure, style and level of detail
    • Has and/or can develop understanding of performance drivers
    • Has commercial acumen
    • Ability to create inspirational, realistic and achievable plans
    • Ability to drive a community
    • Ability to manage differences across cultures

    Site Quality Coordinator

    Manages Quality Agenda at plant to ensure full deployment of continuous improvement initiatives. Coordinate and manage plant Team’s performance on quality agenda.

    JOB SUMMARY:

    • Manages Quality Analyst to deliver performance
    • Continuous Improvement: Deployment of Quality Pillar at the plant. Trending and categorization of losses
    • Benchmark and share learnings from other sites
    • Quality Management System: Including, ensures compliance to Unilever and all external quality standards. Ensures compliance to category GMPs standards
    • Customer and Consumer Focus: Responsible for factory CRQS and full compliance. Drives complaints and corrective action
    • Change Management: Involved in all quality innovation projects with all relevant stake holders. Input during design management stages of EEM. Owns quality culture journey and relevant campaigns
    • Incident Management: Participates in all recalls, consumer safety and serious incidents investigations.
    • Process Capability: Drives quality process capability surveys using available statistical tools. Support Production with problem solving and QA Advice
    • Management and Control: Influencing, People management, Technical management and Relationship building
    • Skills and Learning Factory Teams: Training needs analysis identified and addressed for factory teams. Refresher training schedules and conducts. Drive Beauty Culture Journey

    KEY REQUIREMENTS:

    • Chemical/ Mechanical/ Industrial Engineering Degree OR Biotechnology/ Food Technology/ Analytical Chemistry/ Quality or any other relevant qualification
    • Must have 3 years Quality Lead experience within FMCG/ Manufacturing environment
    • Solid management, leadership, decision making and influential skills experience is critical
    • Proficient experience holding Plant Leadership and Team accountable
