    Robotics Service Engineer

    DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Install, configure, and commission new robotic systems at customer sites.
    • Perform scheduled preventive maintenance and inspections on robotic equipment.
    • Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with robotic systems, controllers, end-effectors, and peripheral devices.
    • Repair or replace faulty components to restore equipment to proper working order.
    • Document all service activities and repair work performed.
    • Collaborate with engineering teams to provide input on product improvements.
    • Stay up-to-date on the latest robotic technologies, software, and industry best practices.

    QUALIFICATIONS:  

    • Higher engineering qualification in robotics, mechatronics, automation, or related technical field.

    EXPERIENCE: 

    •  3+ years of experience as a robotics service engineer/technician.
    • Time-served engineer/technician with experience working on offshore projects is beneficial.

    SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES: 

    • Strong understanding of industrial robot programming, control systems, and end-of-arm tooling.
    • Working knowledge and experience of PLC and HMI systems. Siemens preferred.
    • Working knowledge of robotics platforms and tool kits both vendor specific (such as ABB, Yaskawa, Kawasaki, Kuka, etc) and vendor independent (such as ROS and ROS Industrial).
    • Certification in specific robotic brands (e.g. Yaskawa, FANUC, ABB, Kuka) preferred.
    • Computer literacy (including good command of Microsoft Office – Excel, Word, Outlook).
    • Confident and professional when representing the company in person and writing.
    • Willingness to travel internationally, ad-hoc and frequently to customer sites.

    Maintenance Millwright

    DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • To promptly respond to electrical and mechanical breakdowns.
    • Apply trouble-shooting and fault finding techniques to identify the cause of the breakdown.
    • Effect quick and robust repairs
    • Use the correct tools and spares to ensure that the machines / equipment are correctly and safely repaired. 
    • Ensure that machines / equipment are installed according to recognised standards, procedures and plans.
    • Ensure that machines are installed in line with relevant Health and Safety regulations

    QUALIFICATIONS:  

    • Technical Grade 12, Minimum N4- N6, completed a recognised millwright apprenticeship and passed a recognised trade test in the trade of millwright. 
    • Alternatively, qualified through experience and/or recognition of prior learning 

    EXPERIENCE: 

    • Experience as a Millwright within a heavy engineering environment

    SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES: 

    • Attention to detail
    • Electronic fault finding
    • CNC system navigation
    • PLC programming and fault finding (Siemens, Fanuc, Heidenheim)
    • CNC retrofitting
