    Senior Resource Geologist - Mokopane

    • The Senior Resource Geologist's role is to develop geological resource evaluations of exploration and operational projects, using specialized and appropriately customized software's and best practice methods in line with the organizational and and corporate governance standards. You will have to create a short-term and long-term mineral resource and reserve block models to enable monthly forecasts, reconciliation to production data and reporting of Mineral Resources which will enable IvanPlat Platreef Mine to achieve its strategic objectives.
    • This role involves technically accurate and precise application of routines after developing a profound and incisive understanding of the of the geology of Platreef orebody. The incumbent will apply knowledge of geology, mining, mineralogy, metallurgy, mill recovery, and geostatistics to develop mineral resource and mineral reserve block model estimates in compliance with industry and governmental (NI 43-101). The role requires a committed professional approach to the work.

    You will have the following:

    • Grade 12 
    • Degree Hons. in Geology 
    • MSc is preferable 
    • 10 years' experience within applicable practical mining environment 
    • Experience in block modeling and resource estimation practices
    • Experience in database management, AQ/QC and geological modeling acquire, Leapfrog and Datamine experience is
    • Geological/geometallurgical modelling, geostatistical principles and analysis, mineral resource estimation, resource confidence classification, technical documentation 

    You will have advanced skills and knowledge in: 

    • Good analytical skills
    • Communicate clearly both verbally and written 
    • Must be self-motivated, efficient, and innovative/proactive
    • Strong organization and time management skills
    • Good communication skills
    • Cross functional abilities (Production Geology and Exploration functions)
    • Basis MS Word

    Section Engineer - Mokopane

    Suitable candidates must possess the following minimum qualifications and skills:

    • Electrical/Mechanical Engineering degree
    • GCC certificate 

    Suitable candidates must have the following work experience:

    • 5 or more years' experience in a mining environment as a GCC Mining Engineer 
    • Understanding of Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, Architectural discipline
    • The ability of effectively communicate with management, subcontractors, customers

    • Support the project manager or other management roles in the construction process throughout the project

    HR Development Officer Engineering - Mokopane

    Suitable candidates must posses the following minimum qualifications and skills:

    • Grade 12 with Mathematics and Physical science or a Technical Matric N3
    • NQF Level 5 OD ETDP Higher Certificate or equivalent qualification
