Purpose of Position:

• To record (Data Capture) and audit Patient Files and Referring Doctors requests as per Service Request forms and correctly data capture all the different formats of Service Request Forms as per Ampath, LIS, CDC protocols, SLA, Targets, Quality and TAT.

Requirements:

• Grade 12

Required Experience:

• Data capturing experience, Knowledge: MS Word and MS Excel

Key Responsibilities:

• Data Capture Patient Application Forms (Service Request Forms) onto the relevant Meditech Application Database to ensure that we adhere to SLA and System Integrity

• To effectively and sufficiently capture request forms onto Meditech via RSS.

Requirements:

• Grade 12

Required Experience:

• Administration related work experience within a pathology laboratory environment, Knowledge: Medical Terminology, Knowledge: Meditech system, Knowledge: MS Word

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain good client relations to promote the image of Ampath, Perform general administrative tasks in order to ensure that the relevant documentation is accurate and accessible, Performing logging related tasks in order to ensure that accurate records and documentation are maintained

About the Job

Purpose of Position:

• To provide a diagnostic anatomical pathology / histopathology consultative service to referring clinicians. Assist in the management and supervision of the daily activities of the anatomical pathology laboratories.

Requirements:

• FC Path(SA), HPCSA Registration in Relevant Register and Practice Field, MBChB, M Med (Pathology)

Required Experience:

Key Responsibilities:

• Advise Clients on life threatening results, Continuous Education for Pathology laboratories, Maintain client relations to promote the image of Ampath, Marketing, Oversee the standard of the work performed, overall operation and administration in the laboratory, Promotion of Professional Standards and Expertise, Provision of Continuous Pathology/Clinical Laboratory Service: Consultation with doctors, Control and monitoring of results, Result verification, Reporting, Participation in Peer Group, Sign-out all abnormal results according to criteria
