    Process Operator Gr.2 (North West - Rustenburg)

    Description

    • Adhere to all safety regulations and work standards.
    • Practice good housekeeping
    • Comply with all legal requirements.
    • Prepared to change shift on a short notice.
    • Active participation in BBS
    • Manage stressful situations.
    • Physically monitor production process
    • Conduct visual inspections on the process and equipment.
    • Report process deviations to the Foreman
    • Communicate and assist team members in controlling the process.
    • Compile relevant area shift report at end of shift.
    • Examine equipment and complete safety checklist.
    • Report all at risk behaviors and unsafe conditions to the Foreman
    • Maintain required housekeeping standards.

    Artisan - Millwright (Northern Cape - Kudumane)

    Duties include; but are not limited to:

    • Faultfinding on Mechanical, Electrical, Hydraulic/Pneumatic and instrumentation systems.
    • Repair electrical, mechanical pneumatic/hydraulic breakdowns on equipment ie (hid systems, mono pumps, level transmitters, screw conveyors and limited diesel mechanic work.)
    • Preventative maintenance on production equipment ie (hid systems, mono pumps, level transmitters, screw conveyors and limited diesel mechanic work.)
    • Get service documentation (job cards) signed off and records are sent to supervisor.
    • Do yearly earth resistance tests on plant and magazines.

    • Assist with technical investigations and RCA
    • Identification of defects, reporting to foreman, do job cards to address defects.

    Explosive Engineer (Mpumalanga - Witbank)

    Duties and Responsibilities:

    • To act as a direct link with the customer.
    • Building and sustaining sound business relationships
    • Continuously monitor and provide feedback to the relevant line manager on market intelligence (what’s trending on the market), which form the base of identifying key strategic issues facing customer portfolios.

    • Complaints from customers to be handled swiftly and competently to their satisfaction.
    • Determine and prepare the product sales budget, and in conjunction with the Sales Account Manager to decide the appropriate product mix to achieve maximum trading product, market share and other business parameters. Achievement to be measured by means of the balance scoreboard and market share.

    Requirements

    Qualifications:

    • B SC / B Degree in Mining Engineering (Required)
    • Blasting or Rock Breaker Certificate – Open Cast (Required)
    • Driver’s licence (Required)

    Heavy Duty Driver (Reliever) ( Limpopo - Steelpoort)

    Description

    • Ensure delivery at customer within the time slot as allocate by the chief inspector of explosives
    • Safe execution of delivery process
    • Adhere to public traffic regulations and CIE regulations (80km/h speed limit)
    • Execute the offloading coordination
    • Ensure explosives seals are intact and correspond to delivery documents
    • Sign delivery documents
    • Assist customer in offloading the product
    • Complete full vehicle inspection sheet before departing Magazine area daily
    • Ensure vehicle license and explosives operator’s card remains valid
    • Ensure fire extinguishers are compliant
    • Ensure proof of delivery is returned to Administration office for customers invoicing

    Requirements

    • Grade 12 (must)   
    • Valid code 14 Drivers license (Must)
    • Valid dangerous goods permit
    • Must be prepared to undergo psychomotor Testing 

     Experience:

    • Minimum 2 years’ experience, preferably within supply chain explosives environment
    • Proven experience in explosives product handling and emergency process (Hazchem)

    MMU Controller (Northern Cape - Kudumane)

    Description

    • Conduct daily equipment pre-start safety check noting any sub-standard conditions and report such instances to the Site Supervisor;
    • Load the MMU with the correct raw materials;
    • Calibrate the MMU monthly, to ensure that it delivers the correct blend of raw materials;
    • Monitor safety systems on the MMU during operation;
    • Be fully conversant with and able to control the MMU through the IBIS control system and any future variants of the IBIS system;
    • Conduct on bench quality checks on drill pattern, blast hole depths and stemming lengths;
    • Make up primers and prime blast holes;
    • Identification of any abnormal conditions on the MMU and within the work area and reporting thereof to Supervision;
    • Maintain ownership of bulk explosives MMU including housekeeping of the cab, chassis and plant;
    • Minimize and clean up any raw material spillage and dispose of any spillage in the correct waste streams;
    • Contribute to the review and generation of Enaex Africa –  Mining Services Works Instructions;
    • Participate and actively contribute to Enaex Africa –  Mining Services and Customer induced safety initiatives;
    • Conduct 1st line maintenance i.e changing of bled pump, water stator, diesel stator, proxy cable and gassing stator;
    • Decontamination of trucks.

    Ops Chargehand (Eastern Limb) Mototolo ( Limpopo - Steelpoort)

    Description

    • Assist mine personnel on on-the-job training (Technical support on DDS™ equipment & Charging-up)
    • Provide information regarding Health & Safety of Enaex equipment to mine and Enaex employees.
    • Assist mine personnel on on-the-job training (Technical support on DDS™ equipment & Charging-up)
    • Assist Service Technician in maintenance of DDS™ Equipment
    • Density checks and records
    • Day to day inspections and minor repairs on DDS™ equipment
    • Oversee mine trained employee to do daily checklist. Mine employee to hand checklist to his mine supervisor.

    • 2-3 years working experience in underground.
