    TFC Maintenance Coordinator (Rotables) - Steelpoort

    Purpose Of the Job:

    To co-ordinate the rotable repair process through:

    • Co-ordination of the turnkey repair process to ensure timeous delivery and quality of repairs.
    • Maintenance and optimization of rotables items stock level. 

    Job Responsibilities:

    Safety, Health, Environment and Quality:

    • Ensure SHEQ compliance within the Team through effective use of the Toolbox
    • Utilise the Information Management System (IMS) to initiate, investigate and report SHEQ status 

    Customers: 

    • Ensure Customer Satisfaction 

    Business Processes: 

    • Rotable stock control-liaise with FI&A Superintendent to determine if rotable item should be replaced with new.
    • Rotable repair process- from plant to vendor and back to plant.
    • Rotable items storage (O/H Crane and forklift operation)
    • Verify if rotable repair is covered by a contractor not - liaise with Buyers.
    • Obtain quotes and select preferred Vendor.
    • Create and execute the spares preservation plan.
    • Monitor rotables progress and expedite outstanding rotables

    • Record rotables contractor's non- conformance.
    • Ensure that BER items are received back from vendors.
    • Dispose of scrapped items.
    • Scan relevant quotes, link to PR and update to accepted quote.

    Requirements

    Minimum Qualifications and Experience:

    • Relevant N4 certificate, Degree or Technikon diploma
    • N3 for internal candidates in Samancor Chrome only
    • 3 years maintenance stores/ other relevant experience
    • Microsoft Office literate
    • SAP experience will be advantageous.
    • Valid forklift license will be advantageous.
    • Valid O/H crane license will be advantageous.

    HR Practitioner – Organisational Development (OD) & Wellness (Steelpoort)

    PURPOSE OF THE JOB:

    • To develop and implement a comprehensive and integrated workplace wellness programme, promote employee wellness and ensure efficient communication to all stakeholders regarding wellness and organisational development matters.  

    KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

    CUSTOMERS

    Customer Relations:

    • Develop and maintain productive relationship with internal and external customers.

    • Educate employees on EWP principles, its objectives and benefits through training and alignment with stakeholders.  
    • Design, implement and manage a suitable EWP program which will address employee needs and contribute to productive workforce.
    • Ensure employees gain access to services available under the EWP through campaigns and related programs.
    • Communicate monthly Wellness topics Liaise with Employee Wellness Service provider and manage the program.

    Organisation Development:

    • Implement Organisational Development initiatives as required Coordinate and implement Samancor Value initiatives on an ongoing basis to embed the Samancor Culture.
    • Identify opportunities to eliminate waste and reduce operating cost.  
    • Act on improvement opportunities recommended by stakeholders.
    • Initiate and implement Culture building events Compile, administer and analyse climate surveys and organizational development interventions for continuous improvement in the organisation's culture. 
    • Identify, recommend and facilitate OD interventions in line with approved programme objectives where required. 
    • Ensure that Organisational Values are embedded. 
    • Ensure regular communication/initiatives regarding Organisational Values.
    • Assist with administration of Equity, Skills Development and Training Forum Meetings and other information sharing events, where required.

    Communication:

    • Develop and implement Communication initiatives related to Organisational Culture and Climate (e.g., Sports days, Awards Ceremonies and other functions)
    • Manage communications projects.
    • Conduct bi-annual Communication audits.
    • Initiate and implement culture building events.
    • Attend high-level events to ensure coverage through communication channels.
    • Develop Communication material (e.g., Videos, Presentations, Visitor Booklets).
    • Ensure the Communicate strategy and Cope of Practice are implemented.
    • Ensure effective communication to the workforce is done.

    Requirements

    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Human Sciences; Industrial Psychology; Marketing and/or any other related field
    • At least 4 years relevant experience
    • Experience in the industry will be an added advantage. 
    • Computer Literacy  
    • 1 year’s supervisory experience in similar environment will be advantageous.
