    Manager: Distribution and Route Optimisation - Waterfall

    Job Objectives:

    • Support Low-Cost Effective Distribution
    • Track Distribution Performance and Route Adherence
    • Build Distribution Cost Effectiveness
    • Mitigate Distribution Risks and Optimise Fleet Protection
    • Foster Agility, Problem Solving, and Cross-Functional Teamwork

    Qualification Requirements    

    • Bachelor's Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a Related Field. Certification in Distribution Management or Route Optimisation will be advantageous.

    Experience Requirements    

    • 3-5 years in an FMCG Distribution/Logistics/Sales Operations supervisory role.
    • 2-3 years of Route Optimisation experience.
    • 1-2 years of working knowledge of vehicle telematics technology & software.
    • 1-2 years of experience with DRM/VSC Systems will be advantageous.

    Requirements:

    Job Knowledge and Skills:

    • Knowledge of DRM/VSC Systems requirements.
    • Understanding of Fleet Geo-Tracking Information Systems and geo-spatial data.
    • Understanding of route planning and optimisation principles and standards.
    • Knowledge of team management processes, stakeholder relationship management, data analytics, and reporting.
    • Understanding of distribution-related policies, procedures, and regulations will be advantageous.

    Technical Skills:

    • MS Office skills.
    • Technical proficiency with DRM/VSC Systems.
    • Process performance management, contract management, problem-solving, analytical, training, and coaching skills.

    Clerk: Sales Admin - East London

    Purpose of the job: 

    To provide administrative assistance, and support to the designated Manager and or department / team in order to ensure the smooth running of the department.

    Work Requirements: 

    • Required to work a 6-day week

    Clerk: Debriefer - Lords View

    Purpose of the job:     

    Debriefing of vehicles upon return from delivery rounds Job objectives:

    Responsibilities:

    • Daily receiving of trade returned stock from vehicles returning with/from deliveries (local and speed fleet).
    • Receiving of Claims, POD’s DRN’s for credit from customers from drivers returning from deliveries.
    • Ensure that all stock received are in different categories as per Debrief Procedure.
    • Comparing the actual returned weight tthe weight claimed by the customer.
    • Ensuring all the documentation pertaining tdeliveries are complete with, POD’s etc., this documentation is then submitted as complete for further processing.
    • Ensure correct return codes have been used for the relevant returns.
    • Raise NCR’s for all non - conformances.
    • Transferring of all received stock tthe rework area following proper hand over procedures. Separate new or good stock returns from damaged and expired returns.
    • Transfer stock tthe warehouse when the relevant documentation has been completed C11 and C12 file.
    • Keeping record and completing all necessary documentation tfacilitate the returns process. (Update Debrief report daily before shift end when required).
    • Daily highlighting and reporting on big quantities variances w.r.t. weight and shortages etc.
    • Recording of pallet returns.
    • Maintain and ensure housekeeping, safety and food safety are up tstandard with Premier’s health and safety policies and procedures. See below:
    • Escalate any suspicious behaviour
    • When required to, dRd’s complete as per process and leave the documentation on the supervisor’s desk tcapture the following morning.
    • Continuous training tbe attended as and when required.
    • Attend and participate actively in Invocom meetings.
    • Any other instruction as per authorised person (supervisor) from time ttime.
    • Always maintain good work ethics.
    • Capturing of POD’s from replenishment on central file

    Qualification Requirements    

    • Matric/ Grade 12

    Experience Requirements    

    • 2-4 Years’ experience in FMCG Warehouse environment.

    Sales Assistance - Aeroton

    Main objective:

    Assist the Salesman driver in daily delivery of Premier products and where applicable assist the Salesman driver in cash and tray collection. Are you a target driven individual with a high attention to detail and accuracy? Do you enjoy working in a highly pressurised environment which operates 24/7/365?

    Responsibilities:

    • Check company products as per loading sheet and sign
    • Adhering to standard departure times
    • Take responsibility for vehicle safety and hygiene
    • Collect cash from the customers and cash in daily (where applicable)
    • Offloading of product at customers
    • Report all accidents immediately to the transport department and Service Manager
    • Do you possess the following competencies (Skills and knowledge):
