    New Vehicle Sales Manager Kia South Africa

    Job Description    

    • The successful candidate will be responsible to plan, manage and monitor the implementation of new vehicle sales activities and processes in order to enhance service delivery and maximise profits.

    Specific Role Responsibilities    

    • Implement and manage end-to-end processes.
    • Define standard operating procedures (SOP's).
    • Monitor and report on progress against operational plan and make adjustment where required.
    • Resolve problems with the necessary discretion and guidelines.
    • Plan, manage and monitor governance compliance processes in area of accountability in order to manage risks and expose liabilities.
    • Contribute to the development of the appropriate strategy and set target within area of accountability.
    • Manage operational risk and risk mitigation initiatives.
    • Adhere to current legal compliance, e.g. FICA regulation, POPI Act and Consumer Protection Act (CPA) and others.
    • Maintaining content on digital and social media platforms in accordance with OEM/Importer and organisational standards.
    • Plan and organise sales outputs through assigning sales priorities and continuously reviewing and adapting targets and quality to achieve objectives and goals.
    • Ensure vehicle stock is managed in accordance with company /OEM/ Importer policies.
    • Educate customers on products and services, ensuring acquisition and retention of customers thereby improving sales, revenue and customer base.
    • Establish and sustain business and OEM/Importer relationships.
    • Initiate and structure sales deals to ensure maximum profits of vehicles sales are achieved.
    • Plan and manage financial activities in line with approved policies, processes and procedures.
    • Manage, monitor and report on budget variances and provide solutions.
    • Maximise rebates and ensure payments from OEM/Importer.
    • Ensure that the assets, resources and equipment are managed in a manner that enhances cost-effective utilisation.
    • Plan, manage and monitor processes to ensure customer service excellence.
    • Deliver services that creates a culture which aims to exceed customers' expectations in all aspects of the business.
    • Contribute to a culture of customer service excellence, which builds positive relationships and provides opportunity for customer feedback and exceptional service delivery.
    • Manage CRM processes and procedures

    Qualifications and Experience    

    • Higher Certificates and/or Advanced National (Vocational) Certificates in Sales and Marketing, preferably;
    • Over 5 years experience in the motor sales industry;
    • 3 years supervisory experience with a proven track record of managing a floor of 20-30 units
    • A valid South African driver's license.

    Parts (Panel) Sales Executive | UD Trucks Pretoria East

    Position Overview    

    • This position is responsible for achievement of Parts sales targets and ensuring customer satisfaction and service delivery, using technical panel product knowledge to effectively assist customers and prepare quotations, prioritising those who are classified as Key Account customers. 

    Specific Role Responsibilities    
    KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Ensure that Parts sales budget is achieved through managing and growing a portfolio of customers to increase revenue and parts spend.
    • Achieve expectations regarding retention of current customers and acquisition of new business.
    • Ensure all customer queries and requests for information and quotations are dealt with efficiently and within agreed turn around times.
    • Negotiate competitive prices.
    • Upsell product solutions to customers.
    • Coordinate the sales process on relevant orders, maintaining communication with customers around timeous deliveries.
    • Ensure that all part exchange replacements and reconditioned items schemes are operated according to company policy in this regard.
    • Efficiently and effectively manage all administrative duties associated with the role; ensuring that all documentation is completed in time in a clear and accurate manner
    • Follow up on all active prospects and update customer data base regularly.
    • Ensure all customers are introduced to new policies and promotions.
    • Ensure all customer issues are reported and resolved.
    • Keep regular and helpful contact with all customers; maintaining an accurate schedule of regular customer engagements
    • Adhere to all policies and procedures relevant to the business, including discount policy if applicable.
    • Maintain regular communication with management stakeholders, primarily the Parts Manager and Dealer Principal.
    • Maintain and increase market share within area of responsibility.
    • Communicate market opportunities to management and other departments.
    • Attend to all meetings and training courses when required.
    • Assist with other/ ad hoc duties as reasonably may be required from time to time.

    Qualifications and Experience    
    MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

    • Grade 12/ Matric or equivalent NQF4 qualification
    • A valid drivers license and the ability to competently and legitimately drive
    • Parts Telesales experience within the HCV/EHCV industry
    • Experience in utilising OEM Portals/Tools to confirm Parts availability and pricing
    • Experience in utilising an Electronic Parts Catalogue
    • Prior experience compiling Parts quotations with a high degree of accuracy and conversion
    • Experience in Parts administration
    • Experience in generating and reporting a “sales pipeline”
    • A strong network in the Parts and Panel industry; able to address and understand Parts and Panel clientele’s needs and expectations
    • Track record of growing and expanding own network and client base in an industry-relevant Telesales role
    • Prior experience of managing customer relationships

    OTHER REQUIREMENTS:

    • Advanced technical product knowledge of HCV/EHCV vehicle components and related ancillary & Panel products
    • Exposure to European and Japanese OEM Products
