    Accounting Clerk

    Description

    • To perform financial and administration functions at the Branch.

    Requirements
    REQUIRED MINIMUM EDUCATION/TRAINING

    •  Grade 12

    REQUIRED MINIMUM WORK EXPERIENCE    

    • At least 2 -3 years’ experience within a financial environment

    KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS

    • Process financial documentation, i.e. obtain and review relevant statements and invoices from suppliers
    • Perform administration functions with regard to payments and reconciliations (generate purchase orders and GRV’s, recon back to invoices and statements)
    • Ensure financial record-keeping of processed transactions (Filling)
    • Process orders, journals and updating monthly working papers as well as the financial month-end provisions and journals

    Boiler Maker - Eloff

    Description

    • The purpose of this role is to ensure the effective operation of the boiler and to safely optimize production

    Requirements
    MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

    • N3 or Grade 12
    • Trade Certificate– Boiler Machinery and Equipment

    KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS

    • Read blueprints and drawings and take or read measurements to plan layouts and procedures
    • Set up components for welding according to specifications (e.g., cut material with powered saws, gas cutting equipment to match measurements).
    • Operate angle grinders to prepare the parts that must be welded.
    • Align components using callipers, rules etc. and clamp pieces.
    • Weld components using manual or semi-automatic welding equipment in various positions (vertical, horizontal or overhead).
    • Repair machinery and other components by welding pieces and filling gaps.
    • Test and inspect welded surfaces and structure to discover flaws
    • Development of chutes and spouts
    • Repair existing machinery
    • Repair, extend or alter structures
    • Mechanical maintenance on production machines
    • Ensure compliance to health and safety regulations and inform your supervisor of any potential hazards and/or breaches of safety regulations that may pose a risk to food safety

    Clerk: Stock Control - Bethal

    Description

    • The successful incumbent for this role will be responsible for the execution of stock ordering and stock control. 

    Requirements
    MINIMUM EDUCATION/TRAINING

    • Grade 12
       

    MINIMUM WORK EXPERIENCE

    • 1-year stock ordering and stock control experience in a sales environment 
       

    KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS

    • Monitor stock levels and ensure that stock is timeously ordered from supplier or procurement
    • Take receipt of stock and ensure correct product counts as well as correct product pricing
    • Conduct stock counts on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis    
    • Manage stock provisions, including managing stock levels, minimising stock losses, damaged stock and expired stock
    • Ensuring Cold Chain compliance is adhered to during Receiving process
    • Ensure that staff are aware of Legal requirements regarding purchasing of certain products (Poison, Red-band) and that the registers on all Red-band products are up to date and signed off.     
    • Ensure that product codes, prices, and stock correspond with the barcode, product code and description of the product item received       
    • Generate stock-taking count sheets and assist with quarterly stock-taking     
    • Capture count sheets on the system  
    • Attend product knowledge training
    • Generate reports from the system (Min/Max stock levels, stock days, supplier lead times, Quantity sales reports, Outstanding inter-branch transfers, Lost sales)
    • Ensure that stock is displayed according to merchandising standards and that merchandising displays are relevant to seasonal need to enhance add-on sales
       

    TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS

    • Proficient with MS Office Suite (MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint)
    • Knowledge of the K8 stock and finance system
