Job Description

• Prologiq Labs is a dynamic creative & consulting agency providing bespoke software solutions, design, web & system development services to a range of clients. The company focuses on building strong lasting relationships with its clients, and in pushing its creative and technical boundaries using leading technology stacks.
• We are now looking for a intermediate database administrator who will work under supervision to manage and administer Oracle & MS SQL databases across different platform. You will also be working on emerging technologies ensuring proper integration into existing systems and procedures. Candidates must have min 3-5 years working experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Working on Azure Cloud and On-Premises environments as the key focus areas.
• Administration and management of databases in DEV, QA, pre-prod & production environments.
• T-SQL Scripting and development on both new and existing functions
• Troubleshoot and resolve server, database and data issues
• Security maintenance of server and database
• Maintenance and monitoring of SQL environment
• Provide debugging assistance to development staff with DBMS
• Monitoring and completion of all DBA related Service desk calls

Essential Requirements

• 3+ years’ experience in SQL database administration
• DBA Related Qualification
• Database Security
• Have in depth SQL internal knowledge
• Backup and recovery experience
• Performance tuning on SQL
• Always on Experience would be advantageous
• Failover clustering Experience would be advantageous

• Should be strong with Web-services REST API, and JSON

Job Duties

• Candidate must be able to fulfil development, design, testing, and user experience roles on projects.
• Must be able to coordinate systems development with external developers.
• Candidate must be able to convert flat design files into valid HTML/CSS layouts following accepted industry standards.
• Candidate must be able to work in an agile environment and has experience working with version control systems such as Git/TFS

Skill Matrix

Candidates must have the following skills

• Front-End Technologies such as HTML5, working with Bootstrap/Zurb Foundation, CSS3 & Javascript
• Working with Angular 2+ and Typescript
• Relevant experience working with Wordpress, Joomla & Drupal(including development on plugins for the relevant platforms)
• PHP Frameworks such as Laravel & Codeigniter would be an advantage
• Any relevant Web Development qualification
• 2+ years’ experience

Key Responsibilities

• Working & building out various company application as per the specifications provided
• Working on multiple platforms as well as APIs and remote tools
• Develop software and collaborate with product owners and team members
• Manage deployment of software solutions once development has been completed
• Support & enhancement of software solutions

Essential Requirements

• 3+ years’ working experience in key development role
• MCSD/Diploma/Degree in relevant field
• DevOps related qualification
• Agile Related certification would be an advantage
• Experience with PHP, Java/Kotlin, C++(Experience with C# would be adventurous)
• Experience with Azure Cloud Environment
• Experience with working on structured SQL environments (MS SQL, Oracle, MariaDB, MYSQL)
• Experience with other languages (Ruby, Python, Go, JavaScript, etc.)
