    Commercial Portfolio Manager

    Job Description
    Listed Fund seeks coastal based Commercial Manager for premium portfolio.

    Currently on top of the Property game, our client's property portfolio has stood strong despite our unstable economy and political uncertainty. As the preferred Landlord and Managing Company, their business strategy of offering competitive products, services and space has put them ahead of the competition. During the last 12 months their focus has been on protecting, expanding and improving their existing retail, commercial and industrial portfolio. Through large scale acquisitions, disposing of underperforming assets, as well as developing and managing their current buildings, they have grown their portfolio to now be valued at over R50 Billion across the entirety of South Africa. An experience Commercial Portfolio Manager is required for their Premium Portfolio in Cape Town. With close to 300 000sqm of GLA, you will be responsible and accountable for the performance of the portfolio and the management-team. They require someone to effectively manage the operations and facilities of the portfolio. This will include all maintenance and CAPEX budget requirements, vendor management, tenant installations and development projects. Over and above this, you will also be responsible for management budgets, forecasts, arrears and utilities management. Leasing and vacancy rates will be a great deal of your focus, by ensuring that lease strategies are in place, reducing vacancies, improving tenant mix and maximising of property income.

    Assistant Facilities Manager

    Our listed-client, a leader in the South African Property Market, has been focussed on protecting, expanding and improving their retail, industrial and commercial portfolio. Under their Cape-Town Management team is a well-established Retail Centre based in the busy hub of City Centre. Stretching close to 50,000sqm this R800-Million shopping centre requires a strong Assistant Facilities Manager to join their team. Helping the Portfolio and Facilities Manager will be your main responsibility. This will include being the first point of contact for tenants and contractors. You will be responsible for running your own maintenance and construction projects, from project schedules to budgets. As part of the maintenance department, you will also be assisting in procuring goods and services through approved vendors. Compiling weekly status reports and handling other administrative assistance to the Property Management team will also form part of your tasks. If you have 3 years technical and property experience within the Facilities team of a retail centre, an understanding of Customer Care, Health and Safety Issues and hands-on experience.

    Portfolio Bookkeeper

    Job Description

    Listed fund seeking Financial Genius. Do you want to work for a listed fund with a portfolio of more than 500 properties and valued at R100 billion. Their portfolios consist of commercial, retail and industrial buildings. In 2014 they where voted one of South Africa's top employers. Their growth revenue has grown more than the base market in the past year and is continuing at this trend. They are looking for an analytical, deadline driven male to join their South African team in Johannesburg.

    As the Portfolio Bookkeeper you will be preparing all the monthly financials for approximately 23 building doing the books up to management pack. Your portfolio is valued at R3.6 billion; mainly commercial with one or two mixed buildings. You will be assisting with the budget preparation, doing balance sheet recons, vacancy reporting on more than 200 tenants and processing invoices for payment. You will report to the portfolio manager, but mainly work alone. Therefore you will have to manage your time ensuring you don't miss any deadlines. The ideal candidate will need an Accounting qualification with at least 3 years' working experience in a similar role.
