    Human Resources Coordinator

    Overview    

    To coordinate and complete administrative duties for the human resources department pertaining to recruitment, maintaining employee records, assisting with payroll processing and provide administrative support to all employees.

    Qualifications    

    • Matric 
    • NQF Level 5 or 6 qualification in human resources or office administration 
    • National diploma in human resources is advantageous  

    Experience    

    • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role within an HR generalist environment 

    Duties    

    • Recruitment and Selection (20%) 
    • Advertise all roles upon receipt of approved job specification and vacancy requisition 
    • Select internal and external portals based on approved requisition 
    • Respond to all enquiries pertaining to recruitment portal and assist employees to navigate the Application Tracking System 
    • Prepare longlist of candidates for review by Human Resources Business Partner 
    • Update Application Tracking System and progress candidates to next stage and provide feedback via the system to candidates not suitable, based on shortlist received from Human Resources Business Partner

    • Ensure all staff movement forms are completed based on information or request received and approved by Human Resources Business Partner 
    • Collate all relevant staff requests received from employees and direct to Learning and Development, Talent Management or Payroll where applicable 
    • Ensure all leave is updated and processed in the system before payroll closes 
    • Ensure timesheets, expanse claims are submitted to payroll

    Assistant (General) - Khumani King

    Overview    

    The purpose of the job is to ensure that all the prescribed duties are carried out in preparation of a detonation, performing the detonation, and concluding post-detonation tasks. In this process, will be responsible for assisting the blaster and truck operator with the preparation of the blast block.The purpose the job also includes the assistance to the truck operator to collect products at silos and deliver this product down the hole at the blasting face. Responsible for the housekeeping and maintenance of the vehicle, re-filling area and other working areas.  All these tasks and duties are carried out by meeting statutory, legal, client and BME prescriptions and standards, and without taking any short cuts.

    Qualifications    

    • Grade 12 with Maths

    Experience    

    • Previous experience in blasting / mining environment

    Duties    

    • Risk assessment and Safe work declarations to be done with the blaster at the place of work before entering workplace as per client requirements   
    • Assisting the blaster for preparing the blast / charge-up area by meeting all the statutory, legal, client and BME requirements/standards/prescriptions
    • Together with the Blaster, inspects the site to determine the target block and to plan the blasting process
    • Marks off the working area by erecting the prescribed barricading material as prescribed by the client
    • Required to map the holes to ensure that all the required holes correctly placed
    • Required to measure and check the depth of the holes, and to ensure that they are all correctly drilled within the prescribed parameters
    • In the event of detecting any deviations from prescriptions, responsible for behaving assertively and taking the necessary steps to rectify matters, e.g., by interacting and communicating to mine staff, drill contractor or the Foreman
    • On instruction from the Blaster, required to collect the correct accessories to carry out the blasting assignment successfully
    • Responsible to place all detonators and boosters at the collar of the hole to prepare for priming of the blast holes as per the blast plan issued by the mine
    • Responsible for priming the holes by carefully inserting detonators into boosters, attaching  weigh-down material to the primer, and lower this primer in the hole under the supervision of the blaster

    Assistant Credit Manager

    Overview    

    The Assistant Credit Manager will be responsible for assisting the Credit Manager in all aspects of Credit Management.
    The Assistant Credit Manager will be responsible for maintaining:

    • The credit policy,
    • Preparing credit reports,

    Qualifications
