    Senior Engineering Technician - Johannesburg

    Who You Are

    • You can lead and manage project teams and Engen appointed contractors.
    • You have worked in a Petrochemical industry preferably Depots, Terminals, Aviation, Lubes & Chemicals.
    • You have excellent interpersonal, problem solving, project management, Software i.e., AutoCAD, MS Projects, Excel, and data analysis skills.
    • You have Contractor Management skills.
    • You are an expert in planning and organizing.
    • You have excellent conceptualization skills.
    • You have people management skills.

    What you’ll have done before

    Baseline:

    • At least 5 years Engineering capacity within the Petrochemical industry related experience.
    • NQF 7 BSc Mechanical Engineering / B Tech Mechanical Engineering degree preferred.
    • Deep knowledge in Petrochemical industry specifically Depots, Terminals, Aviation, Lubes & Chemicals portfolio, associated knowledge of industry Engineering standards relating to Bulk Fuel Storage Facilities.
    • Knowledge of municipal by-laws, Acts and regulations.

    Advantageous:

    • ECSA Registration advantageous.
    • Ability to work successfully in an ever-changing environment and navigate ambiguity.

    • What you’ll be doing
    • Provide Logistics & Distribution department with an efficient, professional Engineering service that delivers a safe; cost effective and competitive infrastructure.

    INFRASTRUCTURAL DESIGN 

    • Scope of Works produced and signed off by the Business.
    • Signoff on designs and ensure systems operates per design.
    • Improve infrastructure efficiencies.
    • Ensure designs aligned to relevant codes and best practices (SANS/API/PTS's)

    PROJECT MANAGEMENT

    • MOC management
    • Produce and communicate project plans.
    • Successful management of approved funds with no over expenditure
    • Successful handover of Projects and "backup" support
    • Design documented and met requirements of customer/client.
    • Contractor supervision
    • Project resources required to perform the works.
    • Leverage internal support from HSEQ and Procurement business partners.

    RISK MANAGEMENT

    • Projects executed safely and in compliance with all Engen HSEQ requirements.
    • MOC, HAZOP’s, Risk Assessments etc. compiled and documented.
    • All HSE incidents items closed in a timeous manner.
    • Plant 920G/E's inspections performed, and actions closed out.

    Despatch Clerk - Johannesburg

    What You'll Have Done Before

    Minimum

    • NQF Level 4 (Matric/Grade 12 or Equivalent)
    • 2 years' experience in Dispatch and Document Control
    • Experience in SAP Transactions Processing

    What You'll Be Doing

    Performance Contract Compliance

    • Identify development areas and take initiative to close gaps
    • Manage workload/time to enable execution of IDP

    Daily Plan Scheduling & Execution

    • Daily & monthly inventory control conducted, and reports prepared-no unreported variances/all vendor invoices sent for payment
    • Despatch documentation confirmed in SAP - delivery notes/ shipments/ load confirmation to correct status
    • Transactions posting

    Internal/External Stakeholders Interface

    • Effective communication with transporters/ island view operations and Engen depots

    Document Preparation & Lodging

    • Daily plan scheduled and communicated for all packaged products
    • Delivery due index analysed and reconciled to stock available
    • Produced plan meets customer orders
    • Daily plan produced for all Road and Rail products - as per packaged goods standards
    • All blending additives checked for availability of 3 days
    • Blending production orders processed in SAP correctly
    • All production orders confirmed on completion of drumming/loading and blending in SAP-no errors
    • All empty containers checked for availability of 3 days

    Data Accuracy
