    Document Controller

    PURPOSE OF ROLE

    This role is to ensure efficient management, organization, and distribution of company documents and records. By maintaining accurate records and implementing document control procedures, the Document Controller facilitates effective document management throughout the organization, supporting compliance with regulatory standards, quality assurance, and operational efficiency.

    KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS

    Document Management

    • Ensure the accurate and timely processing of documents such as creation, review, approval, distribution, and archiving.
    • Maintain a centralized and organized document control system to ensure quick retrieval and version control.
    • Ensure documents conform to Legal Requirements and Protocols

    Compliance and Quality Assurance

    • Implement and enforce document control procedures to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and company standards.
    • Conduct regular audits to verify compliance with document control policies and procedures.

    Communication and Coordination

    • Facilitate communication between departments or project teams regarding document status, revisions, and approvals.
    • Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure documents are reviewed and approved within specified timelines.

    Training and Support

    • Provide training and support to staff on document control procedures, software systems, and best practices.
    • Act as a resource for document management-related queries and issues.

    Continuous Improvement

    • Identify opportunities for process improvements within the document control function.
    • Recommend and implement enhancements to document management systems and procedures.
    1. Reporting and Documentation
    • Generate reports on document control metrics such as document status, overdue actions, and compliance issues.
    • Maintain accurate records and logs of all documents processed and actions taken.

    QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE

    • Grade 12 or equivalent
    • National Certificate/Diploma in Administration
    • Certificate in Document Control (Advantageous)
    • 3 to 5 years’ experience in data management and or other information systems
    • Computer literate
    • ISO 9001:2015 internal auditor
    • Experience of Electronic Document Management Systems is vital.

    Senior Project Manager

    PURPOSE OF ROLE

    The Project Manager is responsible for the management and overall performance of various projects by positively contributing to the successful delivery of industrial projects aligned to the Project Charter, baselines and agreements.

    KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS

    • Manage multi-disciplinary projects within project budget, time scale and contractual quality deliverables.
    • Assess and identify areas for improvement.
    • Initiate procurement and monitor material receipt.
    • Manage the establishment of the project team and allocation of tasks and responsibilities across functional areas.
    • Compile project client quality plan in conjunction with the quality department and obtain client approval.

    QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE

    • Qualified Mechanical, Civil or Electrical Engineer.
    • Appropriate qualification in management or project management. Certified Project Management Professional based on PMBOK principals advantageous.
    • Minimum 5 years Project Manager or related experience in electrical/mechanical/civil engineering in the energy/mining/industrial industry.
    • Must have experience with NEC or similar Contracts.
    • Have practical site construction experience.
    • Must have a proven track record of delivering projects successfully.
    • Must have a proven track record of delivering on larger projects.
    • PMP or related qualification will be advantageous.

    Creditors Clerk

    PURPOSE OF ROLE

    Lesedi Nuclear Services’ mission is to be the company of choice in the nuclear industry, delivering quality technical solutions. Professional, ethical and compliant financial processes are fundamental to this mission. These processes are instituted and maintained by the finance department within which the creditors’ clerk plays a fundamental role in the management and reconciliation of the supplier accounts.

    Reporting to the Financial Manager, this position is responsible for the verification, processing and reconciliation of all creditors’ accounts of all the projects

     KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS

    Invoice Processing and Reconciliation:

    • Capture of and reconciliation of creditors invoices and payments back to general ledger and supplier statements.
    • Match invoice against purchase orders for goods and services received.
    • Identify invoices that are for expenses relating to more than one month (for example an annual subscription) and periodically allocate.

    Supplier Management:

    • Liaise with procurement and project managers on supplier activities.
    • Effective handling of creditor queries and referral to management of unresolved issues.
    • Meet creditor payment due dates.
    • Manage the "received, not yet invoiced" and "accrual sub-contractors (certified, not yet invoiced)" accounts to make sure all invoices are received and matched timeously.
    • Manage advance payments to set off against suppliers when invoices are received.

    Cash Management:

    • Capture all payments and receipts from the bank statement into the cashbook via an upload from bank statements.
    • Process and control petty cash and credit card statements.
    • Prepare monthly bank, petty cash and credit card recons.
    • Assist with daily cashflows.
    • Prepare payments and upload to the bank.

    Group Company Transactions:

    • Processing of group companies' invoices & bank statement.

     QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE

    • Matric
    • National Diploma in Accounting/ Finance or similar qualification.
    • Proficiency in the use of an ERP system.
    • Expert knowledge of MS Excel and accountancy practices.
    • 3+ years’ experience in a credit control environment.

     KNOWLEDGE & BEHAVIOURAL COMPETENCIES

    Knowledge:

    • Basic knowledge of accounting practices.

    Senior Process Engineer

    PURPOSE OF ROLE

    Lesedi Nuclear Services is seeking an experienced and skilled Process Engineer to join our Industrial Division team. This is a critical role responsible for producing process designs, providing specialist inputs, leading commissioning efforts for projects, and supporting our multi-disciplinary engineering organisation.

    KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS

    • Generate concept, preliminary and basic front-end process designs including flow sheets, P&IDs, specifications and more
    • Size, select and specify process equipment like rotating equipment, vessels, tanks, hydraulic systems, heat exchangers, instrumentation
    • Develop material and service specifications for projects
    • Review process designs and facilitate HAZOP/FMECA studies
    • Perform design optimizations, root cause analysis and continuous improvement
    • Support plant layout reviews for operability and maintainability
    • Participate in FATs, receipt inspections, testing and commissioning activities
    • Provide process engineering expertise across the full project lifecycle
    • Lead process engineering efforts for project tenders/proposals
    • Support contract negotiations with technical inputs

    QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE

    • Eng. in Chemical Engineering
    • Professional Engineering registration with ECSA
    • Minimum 8 - 10 years of relevant process engineering experience

    COMPETENCIES

    Knowledge:

    • Thorough understanding of process engineering principles and practices for industrial and utility industries
    • Knowledge of OHS Act, regulations and its application
    • Familiarity with ISO quality management systems

    Senior Manager: Project Development

    PURPOSE OF ROLE

    To manage and drive the strategic project development, new business opportunities and enquiry responses for the Industrial Division. To engage on a technical and commercial manner with clients to understand their needs and develop solutions, supported by the Industrial engineering team, for those needs.
    The role is responsible for new project and business development and marketing for the Industrial Division. Together with the Managing Executive: Industrial, the role will evaluate and define the overall business and marketing strategy for the Industrial Division in Lesedi which will be in line with Lesedi’s vision and mission.

    KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS
     

    • Compile and manage the Industrial Division's project and business development records
    • Monitor and ensure effective responses to enquiries from the market in the Industrial Division
    • Be part of the Industrial Division's management team, working to develop and drive the division's strategy
    • Maintain relationships with Technology Partners
    • Manage the Industrial Division's proposals development process
    • Drive the process of tenders and proposals within the Industrial Division

    QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE

    • B.Eng or B.Sc. in Chemical Engineering
    • 10 years project management, business development and/or process engineering experience (combined experience ideal)
