    Business Development Manager - Durban

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Achieve budgeted targets
    • Be Kerry’s DaVinci Gourmet expert in the market and capable of sharing trends and market insight both internally and externally
    • Identify and deliver a portfolio of quality growth projects

    Commercial Director - Hillcrest (Durban)

    Key responsibilities

    • Ownership and leadership, with P/L responsibility, for South Africa - utilize business plans and operational levers to target key market segments, growth accounts, industry dynamics, raw material risks, trends, gaps, and timelines for executions of key strategies.
    • Strategize effective Route to Market and execute leveraging cross functional teams: country sales teams, R&D, manufacturing, procurement, supply chain, QC/QA and finance to grow Kerry’s market footprint.

    Qualifications and skills

    • At least 10 years in the ingredients and flavours business or the FMCG industry
    • Proven track record of market development, building a base business and achieving sustained growth in the food or flavours & ingredients business, preferably in a multinational environment
    • Food techno-commercial background in the ingredients and flavours business
    • In depth knowledge of the food industry & legislation
    • Experienced in working with Senior level R&D, Procurement, Marketing, and QA
    • Experience in developing customer and territory budgets.
    • Up to date knowledge of key competitors and their activities within the region

    Assistant Treasury Manager - Middle East & Africa

    Key responsibilities

    • Develop Treasury & Insurance capability in the Middle East & African (MEA) region.  
    • Support business transactions and provide advice to the business stakeholders in relation to Treasury and Insurance matters.  
    • Build strong banking relationships with the regional & local banks.  
    • Lead the operational banking & cash management activity for the MEA region.  
    • Ensure that the MEA region’s foreign currency risk is mitigated. With the dynamic & versatile nature of foreign currency exposure in the MEA region, the ideal candidate is expected be hands on in the foreign currency exposure management. 
    • Support the Global Insurance Renewal process and to work with our Insurance partners to support the MEA region in case of an Insurance claim.

    • The role will provide Treasury & Insurance exposure to the dynamic and versatile countries like South Africa, Oman, Saudi Arabia, UAE, Egypt, Turkey, Nigeria, Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Rwanda etc. 
    • Whilst prior Treasury experience is desirable, it is not essential, as training and further development opportunities will be available.
