 RESPONSIBILITIES

• Product and Process Specialist
• Service immediate customer needs
• Application Development / Product Design
• New product introductions
• Customer/Supplier/Vendor relations
• Identify new product opportunities
• Organize transfer meetings with sales, project management and customers
• Project Management as required
• On-site assessments, diagnosis, preventative maintenance, repairs and/or upgrades to customer’s equipment
• Sales opportunity management as required
• Contribute to company committees or initiatives as needed
• Travel will be required as part of this position
• Other duties may be assigned

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s Degree in Science or Engineering combined with competency in hydro plant machinery with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience
• Master’s degree a plus
• Demonstrated skills in mechanical or electrical engineering, organizational talents and ability to provide technical service to customers
• Knowledge in Non-Destructive Testing/Quality assurance a plus
• Expertise in manufacturing, field services and commissioning
• Knowledge about on-site machining is a plus
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Proven ability to meet deadlines/successful completion of deliverables
• Self-started with problem-solving skills, and great attention to detail
• Open-minded, communicative personality, enjoys working in international teams with people from different cultural backgrounds
• Willingness to travel to African countries with hydropower or hydropower potential
• Fluent verbal and written communication skills in English are mandatory.   English fluent, French, Portuguese or German a plus
