    What impact will you make?

    You will be engaged in risk management assignments with a focus on business processes and supporting IT. For example, you will analyze which risks can affect financial reporting and/or which IT risks can companies take more,  to improve key business processes.

    You will identify opportunities, possibilities and consequences, review and/or test the current control measures and provide the client with concrete recommendations which you can then implement yourself with our colleagues and the client.

    How you will make an Impact

    • Execute IT risk management related assignments in various industries 
    • Analyze IT risks in relation to business processes and supporting IT
    • Analyze current IT control measures and/or identifying opportunities and consequences
    • Test whether control measures have worked sufficiently (and thus not too much preventative) to control IT risks
    • Draw up and propose concrete improvements to our Customers
    • Work together with our Client to realize improvements in practice

    How you will make an Impact

    You will lead the team by performing interviews, guiding (senior) consultants, and be the main contact person for the client. For IT Audit and Third Party Assurance (e.g. ISAE, SOC) projects you will test design, implementation and operating effectiveness for relevant controls in the system. In your report you will give your client a good, solid advice that matches the risks of the organization, the people and their work ethic. Related projects can be very diverse and vary from small scale engagements to long-term IT Audits for the annual statement and Third Party Assurance (e.g. ISAE, SOC) projects.

    You will get the opportunity to work both on audit and advisory assignments to provide you with different experiences and learning opportunities. Your responsibilities will increase fast as the learning curve is steep.

    • 6 years relevant work experience, 8 years for senior; and ideally experience in IT Risk management or transformation, IT Assurance and/or Audit role

    Africa Talent by Deloitte – Cyber Incident Response Specialist - Senior Consultant

    Job Description

    • Assisting clients with response to Cyber Incidents & getting back to business, this includes data leaks, ransomware, unusual network traffic. Cyber criminals, from insider threat to nation-state sponsored hackers.
    • Technical investigations of cyber incidents: analysis of log files, Windows event logs, Linux artifacts to correlations in EDR tooling, network monitoring tools and SIEM
    • In-depth analysis of malware, threat intelligence and other relevant sources (incl reverse engineering
    • Tactical support such as advice on triage, containment, eradication and broader coordination in cyber incidents
    • Forensic analysis of systems and networks
    • Memory forensics
    • Performing Compromise Assessments and Threat Hunting projects in SIEM and EDR tooling
    • Creation of custom scripts for parsing special log files, data sets and images, etc.
    • Creation of complex timelines based on findings and observations

    Job Description
    Main Purpose of Job

    • The Cloud Specialist will manage and support all Deloitte Service lines establishing client solutions in the cloud.
    • As a high-powered technical talent, duties will include helping our service lines with their client solutions to navigate the operational challenges of cloud computing (Infrastructure as a Service and Compute as a Service). 
    • Acting as a principal technical advisor and work one-on-one with our business units, capturing the technical requirements, and relay it into a service offering supporting both the software development lifecycle (Operating systems and database software) for cloud services and management of active services (Networking, routing and Security).
