    Social Media Coordinator (Cape Town CBD)

    SACAP (The South African College of Applied Psychology) is the leading independent provider of accredited Psychology, Counselling, Human Resource Management, Business Management and Social Work qualifications, with all courses grounded in psychology. We have campuses in Cape Town, Durban, Johannesburg, Pretoria and Online.

    SACAP is looking for a Social Media Coordinator based at Head Office. The Social Media Coordinator will act as the voice, tone, and moderator of the brand through community support, content distribution, and digital engagement to build brand presence and trust, both online and in-person.

    The candidate will be required to perform various functions that would include:

    • Facilitate day-to-day content scheduling and posting.
    • Engage, interact and respond to messages, comments and posts on all active online platforms in a professional and timely manner maintaining the brand tone and presence.
    • Manage, monitor and liaise with all internal departments when feedback or reviews arise for timely resolution.
    • Contribute to digital and marketing strategies to align with business and brand goals.
    • Contribute to the conceptualisation and development of digital content to effectively communicate the brand message.
    • Assist in other marketing and institutional activities such as online and in-person events.
    • Report on digital performance, while maintaining awareness of best community practices and standards with recommendations to implement.
    • Assisting with any other reasonable tasks within the Marketing Team. 

    QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

    • 2-3 years’ experience as a community coordinator, social media coordinator or related industry experience
    • Strong command of written & spoken English
    • Digital marketing acumen
    • Understanding of the social media and online landscape
    • At least 1 year of proven customer service experience and understanding of product offering
    • Knowledge of additional South African languages is advantageous

    Academic Support Manager: Head Office

    SACAP (The South African College of Applied Psychology) is the leading independent provider of accredited Psychology, Counselling, Human Resource Management, Business Management and Social Work qualifications, with all courses grounded in psychology. We have campuses in Cape Town, Durban, Johannesburg, Pretoria and Online.

    The Academic Support Manager is responsible for strategically and innovatively leading the development, implementation, and evaluation of academic support programs and services aimed at increasing the academic success and retention of SACAP students. The role oversees a team of academic support staff and works collaboratively with faculty and other SACAP departments to enhance student success and retention. The role reports directly to the Registrar and works closely with all student support teams.

    SKILLS:

    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and make sound decisions

    • Knowledge of current trends and best practices in academic support

    School Liaison: Durban Campus

    SACAP (The South African College of Applied Psychology) is the leading independent provider of accredited Psychology, Counselling, Human Resource Management, Business Management and Social Work qualifications, with all courses grounded in psychology. We have campuses in Cape Town, Durban, Johannesburg, Pretoria and Online.

    SACAP is looking for a School Liaison for the Durban Campus. The School Liaison is responsible for the promote and raising awareness of SACAP to identified schools and corporate institutions across the KwaZulu-Natal province.

    Responsibilities:
    The candidate will be required to perform various functions that would include:

    • To develop an in depth understanding of all SACAP offerings and be comfortable to present the offerings to students, counsellors, key stakeholders and corporate institutions
    • Liaise with the schools, set up and present admissions presentations and share relevant marketing collateral with school counsellors
    • Acquire matric leads for the admissions team to include in nurture campaign
    • Schedule academic presentations for educators to deliver talks at selected schools
    • Building targeted Corporate relationships to promote our Coaching programmes
    • Assist with the execution of relevant events (virtual or physical) to drive student numbers
    • Attend ad hoc career exhibitions as recommended by the marketing team with the purpose of driving leads
    • Help facilitate the Admissions process by providing students and schools with essential application information and dealing with application enquiries to assist individuals in making appropriate choices over key high volume times (September – January)
    • Supplying weekly progress reports and lead generation activities

    Qualifications and Experience:

    • Minimum Grade 12/Matric certificate
    • 2 years working experience 
    • Proven work experience in Sales and Marketing
    • Familiarity with CRM and Sales Force programmes

    Psychologist

    The South African College of Applied Psychology (SACAP) is the leading independent provider of education in psychology, counselling and coaching, offering accredited undergraduate and postgraduate qualifications.

    SACAP is looking for a psychologist who is responsible for providing mental health services and support to students at SACAP.

    The psychologist will provide a full range of counselling and support and development services to promote student wellbeing and strengthen student success.

    The role reports directly to the Student Wellness Manager and Center.

    QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

    • At least three years’ experience in Higher Education
    • Master's degree in counselling/ clinical psychology
    • Registration with the HPCSA as a Counselling Psychologist /Clinical Psychologist
