    Talent Specialist - Durban

RCL Foods is looking for a dedicated Talent Specialist to join our Talent Management Team, reporting to the HR Executive – Talent. This pivotal role calls for an individual with the ability to envision the big picture and translate it into swift, precise actions. As a Talent Specialist, you will be instrumental in the implementation of strategic Talent Management initiatives aimed at nurturing, advancing, overseeing, and expanding our organization's pool of exceptional talent. Your success will hinge on your capacity to foster talent progression and mobility within and beyond our business boundaries, forging collaborative alliances with HR Business Partners, top-level Executives, and external stakeholders. Together, we will identify, cultivate, and retain the brightest stars in our galaxy.

    Minimum Requirements    

    • BCOM or BSoc Sci degree in Human Resource Management / Industrial Psychology.
    • A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in Talent Management. Previous HR Generalist experience is a definite advantage.
    • Proficiency in Power BI and Excel would be an asset.

    Duties & Responsibilities    
    Internal Talent Management

    • Champion talent advancement and fluidity across the organization.
    • Collaborate closely with HR Business Partners and Executives to pinpoint, cultivate, and preserve vital talent.
    • Cultivate constructive relationships with employees by prioritizing individual development, career pathing, and progression.
    • Act as a bridge between HR and Line Managers, facilitating the optimal match between internal talent and existing opportunities.
    • Spearhead talent management and succession planning for DL grade and below.
    • Coordinate and consolidate information for annual Talent and Organizational Reviews.
    • Oversee the annual 360 Degree activity for the group.
    • Orchestrate activities that shine a spotlight on talent and development.

    Performance Management

    • Efficiently manage the relevant performance management system to ensure data relevance and seamless process execution.
    • Conduct training sessions for relevant stakeholders on any alterations or updates to the performance management system.
    • Offer expert advice to the business on performance management principles, techniques, and best practices.
    • Stay attuned to industry shifts and evolutions to ensure our internal processes align with the dynamic needs of the business.

    Project Management

    • Project-manage and coordinate pivotal business projects, encompassing Top Employer initiatives, Management Trainee Recruitment, system enhancements, and implementations.
    • Craft and execute change management strategies and methodologies to ensure the successful integration of change within the organization.
    • Embrace ad hoc projects that align with the prevailing priorities of our business.

    Talent Collaboration

    • Collaborate seamlessly with all pertinent HR COE teams to ensure the execution of our strategies enhances the HR function's brand and connectivity.
    • Seek out opportunities for partnerships within HR COE.

    Employment Equity

    • Stay updated on legislative changes that pertain to employment equity and translate these changes operationally for the business.
    • Coordinate organization transformation programs through the appropriate committees and channels.
    • Serve as a liaison between the national committee and site-based committees.
    • Ensure accurate and accessible reporting.

    Data Management

    • Maintain the integrity of talent and organizational data, ensuring its relevance and accuracy.
    • Analyse critical data to glean insights into business practices, behaviours, and causative factors.
    • Foster a culture of data-driven decision-making within the organization by delivering meaningful and pertinent data to HR that supports our strategic vision.

    Stores Supervisor - Randfontein

    Job Description    

    • At RCL FOODS we grow what matters! Our Talent Team is looking for someone who is self-driven to fill the role of Stores Supervisor in our Engineering space with great adaptable skills to join our Grocery Division. 

    The role will be based in Randfontein.

    • This position will be responsible for Managing, controlling, and maintaining the engineering store.
    • Must be able to maintain maximum and minimum stock levels.
    • Always ensure stock availability to prevent down time or plants coming to a standstill. 
    • Adhere to companies’ policies and procedures and best warehouse practices.

    Minimum Requirements    

    • Minimum grade 12 with Mathematics 
    • Must have product knowledge.
    • Tertiary qualification stores and inventory management will be to you advantage. 
    • Must be computer literate with sound knowledge of Syspro and advanced Excel.
    • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in FMCG environment
    • Good knowledge of electrical and mechanical parts used in FMCG environment.
    • Must have knowledge and experience in project maintenance.
    • Must be able to problem solve and put in preventative measures.
    • Diploma or at least one year certificate in Warehouse Management 
    • 3 years relevant experience in a stores or warehouse environment 

    Duties & Responsibilities    

    • Ensure parts are issued and received timeously. 
    • Make sure the stores run smoothly and effectively.
    • Maintenance of inventory records, new stock codes, material master updates. 
    • Receiving, inspecting, and storing of supplies disbursed on orders and material transfers.
    • Ensure correct signatures on all documents.
    • Manage and control monthly and quarterly stock counts.
    • Maintain a high level of housekeeping.
    • Complete GRA’s & capture returns and repairs on DMS 
    • Daily check on stock, binned neatly and correctly.
    • Ensure conformity with SHEQ procedures.
    • RCL Foods’ ethical standards and requirements are always adhered to.
    • Report and escalate any areas of non-compliance. 
    • Accurate information and data management.
    • Must be an effective team player.
    • Self-motivated. Take accountability for tasks and activities.
    • Self-management in terms of planning and prioritizing tasks.
    • Quality and productivity standards are consistently and accurately maintained.
    • Risk management if deadlines are not met.
    • Support and drive the business core values. 
    • Manage your team, training, and conflict management. 
    • Mange Client expectations and communicate feedback appropriately.
    • Demonstrate willingness to help others and “go the extra mile “to meet team targets and objectives.
    • Utilize champions training and development programs available to upskill the team.
    • Participate and drive the 4 +1’2 for the Engineering store staff.
    • Maintain a basic appreciation and awareness of employee relationships.
    • Ensure corrective action is taken where required in line with relevant legislation and company policy.
    • Must be able to perform Ad hoc duties which include filing, clean desk policy and any other requirements needed.

    Machine Minder - Centurion

    Job Description    

    • We at RCL FOODS are in search of x 6 Machine Minders  to join our Baking Division in Speciality. The roles will be based in Centurion. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and operating processing line machinery to ensure optimum production and to maintain the condition of the machine(s), and will also be required to perform general maintenance onsite. 

    Minimum Requirements    

    • Matric / N3.
    • A first line Maintenance course or equivalent would be an added advantage.
    • 3 years or more working in a Technical / Operations environment.
    • Strong Mechanical / Electrical hands-on experience.

    Duties & Responsibilities    

    • Set up the machine to ensure the required quality standard of product.
    • Monitor the speed and state of the machine to ensure maximum efficiency.
    • Highlight and pinpoint problem areas on machinery in order for corrective or preventative action to be carried out.
    • Report any deviations from quality and food safety standards to Production, QA and Engineering management.
    • Adhere to the ISO 14000,18000 and 22000 standards in terms of production and machinery operation.
