    L&D Admin Officer

     Job Description

    • Project admin support of Learning and Development operational projects and courses. The purpose of the role is as follows;
    • To support the L&D Content Leads with deployment of courses
    • To co-facilitate/produce as an admin officer
    • To support the L&D Operations Lead and Project Specialist with L&D operational projects, policies, and processes and LMS management

    Key responsibilities:

    • End to end project management support for course deployment (from sending out call for nominations to financial charge outs)
    • Managing training queries, diaries, and training delegates using both Microsoft and GLMS.
    • Support project specialist/chair on Development and Assessment Centres
    • Manage service providers by supporting project specialist

    African Restructuring / Value Creation Specialist

    Job Description 
    Purpose 

    • To provide senior leadership assistance and support on the development of a dynamic, comprehensive, and sustainable restructuring and value creation practice for KPMG across Africa and to provide strategic and coordination support on targeted go to market activities for restructuring / value creation and strategy  opportunities as well as acting as the leading interface for the executive management team of KPMG on the delivery of a coordinated and capable Africa wide strategy and restructuring / value creation solutions team.

    Duties and Accountabilities

    Delivery (45%)

    • He/she will work with existing team in restructuring and strategy and  take ownership of restructuring / value creation mandates in the region, often taking the formal role of Team Lead and leading multi-disciplinary teams of KPMG professionals and sub-consultants, harnessing skills across commercial, financial, procurement, technology, legal, regulatory, environmental, social, and technical/engineering backgrounds.
    • In addition to the Team Lead role requirements above, build and oversee a delivery team that will support strategy and restructuring / value creation projects across Africa, including ensuring the right training and development for the team.

    Business Development (55%)

    • As a member of the Deal Advisory team, he/she will be responsible for working with partners and directors to develop all aspects of the Deal Advisory business.
    • He/she will specifically assist in some aspects and lead on service line innovation and expansion for private equity and lender clients and corporates seeking our restructuring / value creation service.
    • Leading an agreed portfolio of client service teams with specific revenue generation targets across the identified target client universe.
    • Leading the development of a robust business development pipeline of opportunities, ownership of the preparation of all elements of technical and financial proposals, leadership of (or participation in, as the case may be) of client pitches, etc.
    • Clear financial targets and KPIs will incentivise the development of a robust pipeline.

    Qualifications

    • Completed university graduate degree with a post graduate degree in business, finance or equivalent.
    • CA(SA), ACCA, CIMA, CFA, or MBA qualification (equivalent).
    • Experience in business strategy and restructuring / value creation including capital advisory, transaction structuring independent business reviews, etc.
    • 10+ years of top-tier professional services experience and roles, including functional practice management and strategy consulting or corporate strategy.
    • Over five years of business development experience and a track record working at senior level is critical, ideally focused on growth strategy solutions-based practice growth.
    • Experience working across the diverse African regions and sectors.

    • Expert in the growth strategy and strategic performance improvement (cost optimisation and revenue enhancement) field with in-depth industry and business knowledge.
    • Working knowledge of operational and financial restructuring / turnaround.
    • Manage and own client conversation across the full spectrum of business, industries, and sectors from a strategy and  restructuring / value creation perspective.
    • Ability to leverage Africa wide networks across to industries and sectors.
    • Ability to leverage internal Africa wide networks to develop client solutions.
