Purpose of Position:
To ensure the stability and integrity of in-house voice, data, video, and wireless network services. This is achieved by planning, designing, and developing local area networks (LANs) and wide area networks (WANs) across the organization. In addition, this role will participate with the installation, monitoring, maintenance, support, and optimization of all network hardware, software, and communication links. This individual will also analyse and resolve network hardware and software problems in a timely and accurate fashion, and provide end user training where required.
Requirements:
Bachelor Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Finance, Medical Sciences or an Advanced Technology- related qualification. (Required), Industry recognized certification in IT Security (Required), Industry recognized certification in IT Service Management (Required), Industry recognized professional certification in networking (e.g. Cisco CCNP) (Required)
Required Experience:
8 – 10 years related experience, Competence with testing tools and procedures for voice and data circuits, Excellent hardware troubleshooting experience, Excellent knowledge of telephony systems, Knowledge of applicable data privacy practices and laws, Proven experience and success with LAN, WAN, WLAN, and WWAN design and implementation, Proven experience with network capacity planning, network security principles, and general network management best practices, Strong, hands-on technical knowledge of network and PC operating systems, Working technical knowledge of current network hardware, protocols, and Internet standards
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with executive management and department leaders to assess near- and longterm network capacity needs, Conduct research on network products, services, protocols, and standards to remain abreast of developments in the networking industry, Configure networks to ensure their smooth and reliable operation for fulfilling business objectives and processes, Create and maintain documentation as it relates to network configuration, network mapping, processes, and service records, Design and deploy company LANs, WANs, and wireless networks, including servers, routers, hubs, switches, UPSs, and other hardware, Develop, implement and maintain policies, procedures, and associated training plans for network administration, usage, and disaster recovery, Draft and maintain procedures and documentation for network support and operation, Ensure network connectivity of all servers, workstations, telephony equipment, fax machines, and other network appliances, Ensures that all requests for support are dealt with according to set standards and procedures, Interact and negotiate with vendors, outsourcers, and contractors to secure network products and services, Makes a significant contribution to the investigation, diagnosis and resolution of network problems, Manage and / or provide guidance to junior members of the team, Monitor and test network performance and provide network performance statistics and reports, Monitor network performance and troubleshoot problem areas as needed, Oversee installation, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of end user workstation hardware, software, and peripheral devices, Oversee new and existing equipment, hardware, and software upgrades, Participate in managing all network security solutions, Practice network asset management, including maintenance of network component inventory and related documentation and technical specifications information

Key Responsibilities:
Maintain good client relations to promote the image of Ampath, Perform general administrative tasks in order to ensure that the relevant documentation is accurate and accessible, Performing logging related tasks in order to ensure that accurate records and documentation are maintained
Purpose of Position:
To collect and deliver reports; specimens and parcels sufficiently and timeously to and from the wards, hospitals, Dr’ rooms, factories and relevant clients by means of a vehicle.
Requirements:
Grade 10, Valid South African Drivers Licence (Code A), Valid South African drivers licence (Code EB)
Required Experience:
Driving Experience, Knowledge: Basic Vehicle Maintenance, Knowledge: National Traffic Rules and Regulations
Key Responsibilities:
Collect and deliver reports, specimens and parcels in order to ensure that clients and labs received them timeously, Maintain good client relations in order to promote the image of Ampath at all times, Maintain safekeeping and maintenance of company vehicles and relevant equipment in order to remain contactable and deliver excellent service
Purpose of Position:
To provide technical support, perform routine and stat analyses of samples and to assist with supervision related tasks within the Clinical laboratory environment.
Requirements:
Certificate: Supervision, HPCSA Registration in Relevant Register and Practice Field, National Diploma: Biomedical Technology

Experience in pathology laboratory environment, Knowledge: Google and Google Mail, Knowledge: Instrumentation and Methodologies, Knowledge: Meditech system, Knowledge: MS Excel, Knowledge: MS Windows, Knowledge: Quality Control, Knowledge: relevant pathology test procedures, Knowledge of Ampath Safety, Health and Environment management policy

Requirements:
National Diploma – Medical Technology (Preferably Clinical Pathology) (Required), Registered as Medical Technician (Chemical Pathology) with the HPCSA (Required)
