    JOB DESCRIPTION

    • To lead a team of consultants and ensure the team is operating effectively & efficiently in order to managing the Deceased Estates operational processes end-to-end. To assume full responsibility, management and control of all people and activities within the functional area.

    QUALIFICATIONS

    • Certification Deceased Estates

    Experience

    • 3 - 4 years Bank processes, products and systems. Different stakeholders at different levels, internal and external. MS Office, Teams and other collaboration tools.
    • Advantageous:  3-4 years’ experience in Deceased Estates / Customer Credit / Collections

    Specialist, Capital Modelling & Strategic Analytics

    JOB DESCRIPTION

    • Responsible for developing and implementing controls and process design around capital reporting. To prepare the Group's Capital Planning and related presentations. Execution and monitoring of capital allocations and monitoring breaches. Engage in and deliver on ad-hoc projects aimed at enhancing the capital efficiency of SBSA and fellow subsidiaries. Internal and External Reporting Requirements.

    QUALIFICATIONS

    Field of Study: Finance and Accounting

    Other Minimum Qualifications, Certifications or Professional Memberships: Chartered Accountant; CA(SA)

    Experience Required

    5-7 years

    • In-depth and execution knowledge of Basel II and Basel III preferable, financial statements analysis; financial ratio competency; budgeting; data management; credit risk analysis; capital management, risk management.

    Specialist, Group Compliance Monitoring

    JOB DESCRIPTION

    • To complete high quality reviews from planning to reporting and contribute to the global implementation of the Group Compliance Monitoring methodology and processes to ensure the Standard Bank Group and all legal entities are conducting business in accordance with relevant regulations, applicable codes of conduct and within best business practice and drive the development and implementation of a combined assurance approach across all Compliance Assurance Functions.

    QUALIFICATIONS

    Minimum Qualifications: 

    • Bachelor's Degree in Internal Audit or Legal 
    • A post graduate degree in Legal or Internal Audit would be beneficial

    Experience Required

    • 6 - 8 years - Experience in compliance monitoring, auditing or risk management  within a financial services organisation or one of the big four auditing forms.
    • Experience in data analytics, scripting/coding and/or data mining is essential.
    • Experience in leading reviews where full adoption and application of data analytical techniques and tools was applied.
    • Data management experience, in relation to managing business related data in an accurate manner, through the application of various technologies. 
    • 1 - 2 years - Overall experience in the Financial Services sector with an understanding of the how the business and products are structures and operate. 
    • Candidate must be willing to travel into the Africa Regions

    Analyst, Credit Collections

    JOB DESCRIPTION

    • To inform key stakeholders with superior analysis in order to ensure the most efficient allocation of funds within the retail credit environment. Manage credit risk and related projects, and work with a team that is responsible for the health of the credit portfolio. You will analyse consumer credit data in order to make informed credit decisions and recommendations. Consulting with key stakeholders that have analytical requirements, whilst proactively seeking to optimise the portfolio of customers by identifying and implementing value adding solutions.  Strategy analytics to grow the portfolio within risk appetite.Ongoing creation and optimisation of reporting.

    QUALIFICATIONS

    • Completed Matric
    • Minimum Bachelor’s degree in either - Math, Stats, IT, Actuarial Science, or Engineering
    • Relevant business-related tertiary qualification

    Experience

    • 2-5 years of experience in an analytical role
    • SAS / SQL / VBA / Other Coding Languages
    • Advanced computer literacy skills with a high proficiency in MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint
    • Experience in Power BI and Qlikview will be advantageous
