    PSP Raw Material Operator – Fixed Term - Witbank

    Description

    • To safely operate raw material section at pelletizing and sintering plant (PSP) and operate forklift and overhead crane during pelletizing and sintering plant shutdowns 

    JOB RESPONSIBILITIES 

    Safety, Health, Environment and Quality:

    • Comply with SHEQ requirements (SHEQ Toolbox)

    Customers:

    • Ensure customer satisfaction

    Business Processes:

    • Oversee assigned sections of the pelletizing and sintering plant

    Operation:

    • Assist with the operation of the Pelletising, Sintering and auxiliaries:
    • Transfer material by means of a belt conveyor
    • Handle a load by means of an overhead crane
    • Transport tools, materials and equipment using forklift as requested
    • Off load nitric acid from tanker into PSP storage tank
    • Load steel ball from bunker to the ball mill as required
    • Communicate effectively with logistics team to ensure smooth loading of raw materials
    • Communicate effectively with ALMAR Front End Loader driver for smooth loading of raw materials
    • Conduct daily inspection of the different raw material barricades
    • Load bottom layer pellets from the field into bottom layer bin
    • Conduct housekeeping and ensure good housekeeping standards in the plant
    • Prepare the plant for maintenance by cleaning equipment as required
    • Assist in unblocking of raw material and product handling bins
    • Assist with loading of bentonite bags
    • Inspect plant equipment and auxiliaries and report abnormalities
    • Assist with the proportioning of raw materials required for the pelletizing process
    • Assume pelletising duties when Pelletising Operator not at work

     Maintenance:

    • Inspect and report on operational conditions of machinery and equipment

     Reporting:

    • Update log sheets and the MES system
    • Create notification on MES
    • Use IMS to report SHEQ issues

    Process Specialist - Witbank

    PURPOSE OF THE JOB

    • To support the Production Superintendent in managing plant operations in an effective and efficient manner ensuring sustainable operations complying with SHEQ, cost and volume targets through the utilization and provision of capable employees, equipment and resources.     Maintenance Artisan Fitter - North West

    Description

    Work execution:

    • Execute preventative and corrective maintenance work on the following major equipment:

    • Capture history & complete the notification to the required standard.

    • Communicate if spares, equipment or other factors were not available for job on the work order and to the Maintenance Supervisor
    • Generate Notifications from inspections and subsequent Notifications.

    Unplanned Interventions:

    • Perform isolation and issue lockout documents.
    • Attend to breakdown quickly and safely.
    • Capture all data related to the stoppage to aid in determining the root cause.
    • Communicate ways of improving how the breakdown was handled to the Maintenance Specialist

    Rotables Management:

    • Create PM order detailing item to be drawn from stock.

    • Create subsequent notification.
    • Complete all fields on the "Damage" tag on the return item to rotable store.
